That’s my relative! I hope he stays safe, I understand he wants to protect that beautiful home because it’s been passed down for generations but I pray he makes the right decision on when to leave and get him and family safely out.

PLEASE do NOT wait until "it's lapping at the door". Take a lesson from the Paradise Fire in California. Over 90 people dead. I simply cannot imagine a more horrible way to go. That man "it goes down, we go down". OMG.
