Apparently, Denzel's brother was killed by the police, making this song all the more personal for him, and I really think you can feel that. It wasn't obvious to me if you know this, but the third verse is from Denzel's track "Sirenz" off TA13OO, which features JID. I really wish Denzel does more metal someday. Dude killed it. Just found your channel bc of rage and def subbed for it. Tom Morrello(the guitarist) actually commented on this saying that this version was as good as it was because he actually connected with what the song was... “He captures a lot of spirit in that, which is hard to do."

In their 30 years I've heard a seen a few covers of RATM, and no one ever really manages it. Even though the guitarist in this is no Tom Morello (a fkn high bar for anyone!) this recording absolutely nails it. Denzel just fkn rips it up! And his added verse sits perfectly, bringing his own flavour in a perfect mix, with an epic current addition to the message. Mad respect 🤘
