I love the fact that even after he became a big, international star, he stayed faithful to his wife. He did his job, then was a husband and a father. He's definitely a role model for us all. Besides, I think Denzel Washington might be proof for the existence of a Divine Creator.

I just can't explain it...Denzel has such super star presence but a charismatic, down to earth sociable, charming guy. Oh and his laugh...lol he has that "I enjoy life" type of laugh that's non-pretentious. A inspirational type of guy. We need more guys like him in Hollywood!

Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Jack Nicholson, Daniel Day Lewis and Denzel Washington, my top 5 living actors by far. As for this interview, I LOVE Denzel ha what a class act he is. My own mother fancies him more than anyone in the world and she is a 70 year old white woman that has never been with a black guy! (as far as I'm aware ;) my father gets jealous every time Training Day comes on ha.

Quentin Tarantino was on this show with Denzel. I read in an issue of Premiere magazine Denzel confronted Quentin on the set of Crimson Tide about use of racial slurs in his films. Quentin got embarrassed and wanted to take the discussion elsewhere. Denzel said, "No, if we're going to discuss this, let's discuss it now." After that in the press Denzel said Quentin was "a fine artist". Guess is Denzel wanted to keep the argument on the down low so it wouldn't effect his or Quentin's careers.

@jaggededge213 if you mean good hair by having curly, silky looking hair as opposed to afro, kinky hair that is denzels natural texture (the afro). Denzel does not have curly silky hair. He puts products in it to make it look that way. As far as good hair goes, it has nothing to do with texture. It is really haircare. So get informed about that.
