This movie really made a huge impression on me at an age when I was just starting to gain more understanding of what great cinema is, when I started to watch more adult serious drama movies. This is such a rewatchable movie, so well made, two amazing stars toe to toe, incredible cast, the entire look of the movie just draws you into that dirty '70s NY, very immersive, I love it

I just loved Denzel Washington in all of his movies. No matter how good of an actor he is, Denzel Washington sure is not only handsome, but yet he also looks much to clean to be involved in the heroin business. I’m pretty sure that Frank Lukas was probably more uglier, in real life, than Denzel Washington who played his character in the story. Lol! Thanks for this memorable presentation.
