It’s fuckin great to see Wilder just tell the truth and admit they like each other.. boxing is brutal but at the end of it they are sportsmen. This fight sells itself. I want Fury to win but I kinda don’t want to see Wilder lose and not earn as much money for big fights to bring back to his kids! It’s gunna be amazing either way 🥊 🇬🇧 🇺🇸

Wilder was a hydrated Cruiserweight (approx. 206) when he sent Fury flying, a good 50 to 60 pounds weight difference. If Wilder comes in at 225 this time around and connects cleaner... Nobody could pay me enough money to be in Fury's shoes once Wilder lands, and he will land.

Wilder calling Joshua a coward is a prime example of the reason I have little to no respect for him no matter how many unranked fighters he has knocked out. Everyone not drinking the koolaid knows it is Wilder's team who have been avoiding that fight like the plague for 3+ years. I really, really wish I could like Wilder but as a Boxing fan he just keeps giving me reasons not to.

Didn't Wilder offer him a half, at about 50 million and Aj declined and said he was the A side and wilder should come to him and fight him in the UK. Didn't Aj turn right around and accepted a American fight with Miller, who failed the drug test. And here accepted the fight with Ruiz and lost badly. C'mon man y'all act like y'all dont see that.
@timediverx
@timediverx 4 жыл бұрын
@@bogyel3308 Did you miss the first part where Wilder's team was offered $100-120 mil for a 3 fight deal that included the Brezeale fight and 2 fights with Joshua? After they rejected that offer it was all downhill. Joshua would still be the A-Side if they had the fight tomorrow. Half the problem seems to be that Wilder and Co. just weren't happy accepting their place as the B-Side, despite the fact that Wilder had never been able to bring in anywhere near the level of money that Joshua has. The other half seems to be that Haymon and Finkel really don't want to risk that WBC strap going across the pond and not coming back. Also, did you miss where they fired Lou Dibella last week for setting up a meeting with DAZN? There are quite a few interviews out there on it. I'm not saying Deontay himself doesn't want the fight with Anthony, but his team is definitely keeping him away from it.
@bogyel3308
@bogyel3308 4 жыл бұрын
@@timediverx you haven't answer my question yet, but yes i was aware of it. what i was aware of is that even DAZN admitted that the deal was not a good deal for wilder to take. AMD i ask you why did Aj people tell wilder people that he couldn't get in the ring with Aj face2face and that he might even had a restraining order against him. Answer my 1st question and then this one. And im no fanboy i love both fighters and will enjoy the match with them. I just see too much inconsistencies on Joshua part.
@timediverx
@timediverx 4 жыл бұрын
@@bogyel3308 to your first question : yes, that did happen. After the initial offer from Joshua's camp was rejected. To your second question : Yes, that also happened from what I understand. Now let's put ourselves in the Joshua camps shoes for a moment. Our fighter, who holds 4 World Titles after his 21st fight, is selling out stadiums and making record money in the division. He offers Wilder a bigger payday than he has ever made by a wide margin in an attempt to Unify the last belt and become thr Undisputed HW Champion of the World. Wilder's camp turns down the offer because they feel they are entitled to a 50/50 split when Wilder's biggest paycheck at that point was around $2 million iirc. Wilder has no real recognition in the Boxing world, despite being the WBC Title holder. He consistently cannot sell out the venues he fights at. Still looking at this from Joshua's perspective, would we really want a guy who cannot bring in cash and fill seats on his own taking a 50/50 cut of our money when we know we are bringing in the lions share ourselves? It would be like saying "Sure, I don't mind being mugged in broad daylight." -End thought experiment. So from everything I've seen it was the Wilder camp's initial rejection and demand that caused the rift and continued to cause the problem. Once you've seen it from that angle, if you were Joshua would you want Wilder showing up at your fight and giving him the opportunity to get the public to support the fight to help him rob you blind? Serious question.

I leave people personnel life out of sports. That's their motivation not mine to approve on or disagree with. I just think Wilder is a great champ in the ring. His family views and value belong only to him as it does with all athletes. Any person who believe they can cheer for or boo his views on family are those type of people who believe they have the right to place judgemental opinions about a person they true don't know. He can speak on his family and his motivation all he wants to. The next person can not. Learn how to watch sports with out including your personal opinions. That has nothing to do with him, or the sport. Kill your poor attempt at being mature with empty comments about these athletes and their families.

@DarkSunRidah67
@DarkSunRidah67 4 жыл бұрын
Of course he's talking about the risks. 3 or 4 fighters lost their lives in the ring last year alone. Every fighter, when they sign up for this sport knows the dangers of possibly dying in the ring or due to injuries sustain in the ring. In the 80's I believe, Duku Kim died days after fighting Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini due to his injuries days after the fight. Which is why Ray Mancini retired from the sport after that. He never got over killing the man. So you would be a fool if you did not acknowledge the dangers of the sport. Wilder put a fighter in the hospital. (I think Spilka is his name). You could see the look concern on Wilders face after that, he went over to make sure he was ok. It is a gladiator sport and many gladiators never made it out of the arena alive. So you better have a healthy respect for a profession you could lose your life in. Or maybe its just me.

Heath Farley when Lennox Lewis came back he out boxed and dominated his opponent in amazing fashion. Fury out box’s slips and moves make his opponents mess. Aj just jabbed and grabbed. Used his reach and height against an out of shape shorter opponent. He did what had to win isn’t a compliment. Ruiz could never do what he did to aj to wilder or fury
@timediverx
@timediverx 4 жыл бұрын
@@2ndexplosivebullet Funny how you say that so confidently when Ruiz hasn't been in the ring with either of them. 😕 Joshua has never had Fury's head movement and he never will have. He has spent most of his pro career in the pocket duking it out at midrange. He had to adapt to fight a shorter guy with faster hands and went with a Klitschko-esque style for the rematch because winning and reclaiming his belts was more important to him than impressing Wilder fans. Seems petty to criticise him for it. If they ever fight I think Fury would outscore Joshua if it went to a decision. Wilder and Joshua is a toss up to me because they both have over 90% KO rates and Joshua has better technique while Wilder has better power. You can rag on the guy all you want but he still has the best resume out of the 3 and is still a Unified HW Champion with 4 Titles as we speak so I don't know what to tell you dude. Keep hating I guess?

Wilder is not a great or even a very good technical boxer. But he maybe one of if not the most devastating puncher boxing has ever seen outside of young Tyson and young George Foreman. Outside of that, he is tremendous at promoting and hyping up his fights. And he doesn't cheat the fans with his effort and performance. I thought Fury won the fight despite the 2 knockdowns including the one in the 12th that should have ended the fight. We'll see what happens this time around.
