We flew out of LAX on United Express on Wednesday. The thought that the pilots may have been trained by Sling ran through our minds as well. Beautiful video.

Love the video, guys! Love the shirts, hats, and, of course, the airplane. Keep the sterile cockpit all the way to or close to your transition altitude. There have been a lot of runway incursions, even by the “big boys.” Some of the worst cases have occurred during critical times, with aviators feeling a bit too relaxed, if you know what I mean. So, keeping the chatter to a minimum during taxi and below transition altitude is something you’ll see throughout your careers. Maintain a strictly professional approach so that transitioning when you’re on the line is smooth and natural. Other than that, see you all in the line! P.S. I’m sure you all watch shows like Mayday: Air Crash Investigation, pilot debrief among others-it keeps us humble.”

Did the video editors cut out the part where they warned the American Airlines flight about your wake turbulence on departure?

You have many more options to land at in Los Angeles that are better suited for a slow flying plane. LAX is not for single engine piston airplanes because all the airspace that is needed for spacing between jet aircraft. Most jets are flying at 250 kts on arrival STAR, and slow to final approach at 210 kts. Departure aircraft are flying 250 kts on SID. You don't qualify at 100 kts on a good day. Go play in your sand box for GA aircraft.

Mate, it's one day, theres not bloody 87 GA daily departures. I've seen small ish aircraft arrival at international airports, it's not common but it's not illegal or anything.

It seems like the career day for LAX was put on actually at LAX, so to bring planes there, flying them in seems the best way to go.
@zacharysmith787225 күн бұрын
It's perfectly acceptable for GA aircraft to use municipal airports. What's wrong with you?
@zacharysmith787224 күн бұрын
@@alexsze5455 You don't make sense. If anyone anywhere is flying a 210 knot final then I am not an airline pilot? What does other pilot's final speed have to do with me not being an airline pilot? Furthermore, where did I mention anything about finals?
@alexsze545524 күн бұрын
@@SI-lg2vp LAX has a GA side and if anyone is flying final approach at 210 knots, then you must not be an airline pilot.
