well well...as per right now us embassy is closed regarding tourist/buiz visa interview till end of september...yet if you had a buiz visa prior, it is easier to renew it..the rest is all simple

Hello. I’m also a US resident but also a recent dual citizen. We just arrived into Manila a few days ago. We obtained a travel document to enter the PI as Filipino citizens and was told we can just use our US passport when traveling back to SF/US. Upon arrival into Manila immigration and showing our travel document approval form, we were asked for a Philippine passport which we were told by the SF PI embassy we did not need. We were told we cannot go back to the US until we obtain a Philippine Passport. This has been a huge mess since we got here and finding out this information. I wish both countries were on the same page with their travel policy.

Who told you that- being a dual citizen - you will need a Phil. passport to return to the US? My son is a dual citizen and uses his US passport to re- enter the US

@@hopeemond2840 when going through immigration they asked for our Philippine Passport. We had our travel document to enter the PI stating we are Filipino Citizens. But they could not stamp our US passport and only our travel document. And told us we need to get a Philippine Passport when leaving the PI which doesn’t make sense because we are also US citizens with a US passport 🙄🙄🙄

Does it matter which clinic or facility you go to for the covid test? Does it have to be DOH-accredited? I looked up online the DOH-accredited facilities here in the Philippines and the private clinic in the mall that I go to that also offers covid testing is not included in the list and I was hoping I could just go there because it’s closer to where I live. Hi travelled from MNL to LAX last Oct 25 2021, I would advise you to have your swab test in DOH accredited clinics. They are very strict on this requirement. They checked mine 3 times. I had my test with PAL testing center just to be sure and hassle free.

Hi, so I'm currently in the Luzon Provinces atm. Traveling to Manila to go back to Sfo on September 5th. Is it really okay to get the Antigen at PAL Gate 3 on the same day of the flight or get a Antigen here at the province 3 days before my flight at the province where I am at right now? Because people are telling me that I need a swabtest result in order for me to show at each checkpoints espescially entering Manila. Your respond is highly appreciated😊

Yes, its fine to get your Antigen test on the day of your flight but if you’re going to need to present a negative swab test before entering Manila then I would suggest to just get the swab test at your province at least 3 days before your flight.

@ Merlita Jamilla... Phillippine Immigration will not allow you to depart the country with a passport that has a validity of 4 months. You must renew your passport first. It should be valid for at least 6 months or more.

Hello Ivan! I have 2 minor children, one 16 years old and the other one is 14 years old. They are both IR2 VISA, and they are planning to migrate to US on September 15. I heard that everyone must be vaccinated before going to US. Are they eligible to be vaccinated? Even if they are still minor? Hello Diane. I spoke to PAL because my parents are flying out today and we didn't know that it was required, but yes it is mandatory if you are a tourist visa holder traveling to the US, one of PAL's requirements is a travel insurance with COVID 19 coverage, so make sure that the insurance schedule of benefits will have the words "Covid 19" in the coverage. The cheapest and fastest service we found is thru prudential guarantee. Maybe there are cheaper companies but this was the one we found that worked for us best. Some say that you need 2 to 3 days before your flight for a travel's insurance coverage to take effect, but for Prudential, it was all online and the certificate was emailed right within the minute after paying. Hope this helps.

@@eselpronuevo hi rachielle, just want to check with you, my mom is scheduled to fly here to the US in 2 weeks. i checked prudential's website and they have a header saying all travel shield plans have covid 19 coverage but under their policy wordings, there's no mention of Covid 19. maybe it's just not updated? did your parents' confirmation docs have the covid 19 info and were they able to fly with their Prudential Guarantee insurance without any issues?
