I remember the State of C requires at least an antigen test (rather than the pricier RT PCR). It will be the carrier's liability to ensure pax comply with the destination country's requirements (incl. the luggage swab and interview), so the hassle is all in MNL. Anyway, keep it up! What’s the difference of our vaccines here in America to the other countries. As far as I know mas effective pa nga ang Pfizer at Maderna kesa sa ibang brand. Bakit nga ba? Wow. I flew Korean last May going to the US. They never opened our luggages and balikbayan boxes. That's very odd.

How was the layover experience in ICN with the pandemic? Flying non-US going PAL always involves less hassle.

@@otoromaguro7413ICN was pretty much empty. Very quiet. Only one restaurant was open for breakfast. Duty free stores were open though. Since we were just there for transit, for layover, no restrictions besides mask and social distancing. Flights to US was not full. I got to sleep lying down. With PAL, during pandemic, they seem to be the strictest of them all, requiring face shield on the flight.

Here in the US, they won’t ask passengers for negative swab result because it is not required by our law. Philippines however will make you take one just so they can make money. It’s like that song ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, MONEY, MONEY!!!sadly,!that is what Philippines is all about!!!

Antigen is a type of swab test. So, either Antigen or RT-PCR swab test with a negative result :) I would suggest the Antigest since its cheaper and you can get the result within 30mins

Hi, so I'm currently in the Luzon Provinces atm. Traveling to Manila to go back to Sfo on September 5th. Is it really okay to get the Antigen at PAL Gate 3 on the same day of the flight or get a Antigen here at the province 3 days before my flight at the province where I am at right now? I believe you can travel without a vaccine as long as you have a covid health insurance before leaving :)

Hindi po need magpa covid vaccine if going to US, but if youre traveling on a B1/B2/Tourist Visa, you should have a negative antigen or rtpcr test collected 3 days before the flight. Also, you must have a roundtrip ticket, travel and health insurance that can cover covid and your entire stay in the US. Your insurance should coincide with your return flight date.

This is a random question but I am really curious po since on their website, they mentioned about the PAL inflight WiFi unlimited that you can pay for if you wanted to use or have WiFi during flight. Can you really use WiFi during your flight or not po? Thank you in advanced!

If I will be returning to the US but not with the PAL, are we to follow the same swab tests rules as though I was a PAL passenger or can I have the test taken somewhere else?

I would recommend to contact the airline you’re flying with but I know that for US, they require RT-PCR or Anti for the swab test :)

Very thorough. I'm flying to Los Angeles next week so many thanks! By the way when you booked the hotel you guys stayed at for the 10-day quarantine here in the Philippines, did you book direct with the hotel or with a online booking website? (Agoda, Expedia, Booking, etc.). And were you able to check-in early or did you book the day prior to arrival? Because PAL flights going back to Manila are way too early for standard check-in times and so I wonder how it went for y'all.

The only printed form you gonna need is the covid test result.

Going back to sfo, yes, its the same process. The only difference will be in the immigration when you arrive in the US :)
