Will, Jason and Sean-newfound respect for you all. Depeche is my life and I’m just so happy that people still have an appreciation for this incredible band. Thank you so very much for this great interview. ❤

Depeche Mode has somehow managed to stay vital, and challenging, and genius in their fifth decade, and Memento Mori is as good as anything they’ve ever released. As a former oddball kid whose love of this band was no ticket to popularity, I feel validated and so lucky to have lived in the time of Depeche Mode

💯... Exactly this... It made me laugh hard when Martin said the fans love to complain and while I understand some of the gripes... We are so lucky that they're still around with this new album and taking on a grueling tour schedule.

This was a TREAT to say the least. My wife and I have been the biggest fans since the 80’s. Listen to DM everyday without missing a beat. We are covered in DM tattoos, have every album in every possible format, walls are covered in framed pictures, wedding where we got eloped was covered in Wall to wall of DM songs and imagery. We are from Toronto (shout out to Will) saw them this year in April, flying to Hungary to see them there in July and again in Toronto in November. In all honesty, this was the best interview I’ve heard them to because comedians conducted it. The truth tellers of now and all through history. My wife and I cannot thank you enough to have the boys on. Truly Thank you!!!!

I came here because Google suggested this video based on my Depeche Mode interest 😅 I'm glad I did, it is such a nice and fun interview! I'm 32, I just really became a DM fan in 2009!! In 2013 I was supposed to see them live for the first time, but they cancelled the South American leg of the tour because Dave had health issues, and I saw them just once in my life in 2008 in Lima, Peru. I'm hoping they come back to South America for this new tour, I love them so much, they're the band that defines my life ❤

They give me strength to do everything, everyday. And when I listen more to them, like in a loop, my friends and family know that I am in a process of healing and overcaming. I absolutely love Depeche Mode. My favorite band since 1983 when first hearing Leave in Silence and watching the People Are People videos on MTV. Have every album, every remix, been to 11 concerts since Violator, and have watched or listened to just about every interview. I have to say that everyone thinks Depeche Mode were extremely trendsetting and the godfathers of synth-pop, but not true. I know the boys from Basildon always mention Fad Gadget, but there were others like Cabaret Voltaire, Ultravox, Gary Numan, the Cure, and especially early Human League putting out early synth-driven tracks like synth-heavy “Empire State Human” in 1979. Gary Numan and the Tubeway Army’s “Are Friends Electrik” and “Cars”was also in 1979. If it wasn’t for Kraftwerk in 1976 we may not even have DM. For once I’d love to hear them give credit to others, other than Frank Tovey, Bowie, and Daniel Miller.
