I think it’s nice to pickle when the metal is cool, to avoid the toxic fumes and corissive splatter from putting in the silver while its still hot? That cast pod is gorgeous, and the leaves too!

Can my pickle be too strong? What happens and how do I tell? I learned much today, thank you.

Hi, this is great thanks. Do you have to brass brush in between every heat? What type of pickle do you use, does that matter? Is there a way I can just keep it white? How do I do that?

Is depletion gilding something you can do before applying a LOS patina? Would that make a difference?

I'm guessing that you need to polish the piece before starting reticulation? And is there a way to stop the depletion guild rubbing off and returning to a shiny finish?

is 80% silver and 20% copper ratio more for reticulation?

Could I ask how that beautiful pod piece was made?

What a great way to accent pieces ,if you scratch or whatever , what steps do you take to repair
@jewellerytrainingsolutions99784 жыл бұрын
You can carefully burnish over scratches and apply a very light sanding (2000 grit)

Unfortunately it's not until you've watched for nearly nine minutes that you find out that the lady isn't going to show you how to do it. Kind Regards . . . Andy
