Well this will sound so weird and unreal to you, but today my dad almost killed my mom , he beat her with hands, while i was at work. They communicate bad since 4 months even more, she wanted to suicide once, but later on, she thought about me and she didn't. But today he beat her, and i told her to call police she just don't want to, my dad said that soon he is going to kill her, she said that she is not afraid of death... Man... I don't want to see her death anytime soon or him, i'm afraid to call police, but even if i call, i have no idea what to speak because i stutter... Some people will think this is a joke, but very sadly this is not nearly a joke. When she said she's not afraid of death, i wanted to kill my self thinking of how for sure he is gonna kill her... If there is someone smart to help me or anything, but without calling police...

If this is true, you need to go directly to the police, and tell them everything you just told us. They will listen and help. Life can go on away from your father and this abuse. It has to stop. I will pray for you and your mother, this is an abomination.

I've been suffering from anxiety, negative thoughts and a fear of the future for over 2 years now, because I'm 21 and still haven't found my purpose/goal and have no idea what to do with my life. But this week I finally had the courage to get help. I've made appointments with a confidence coach and also with a psychiatrist to finally check my mental health. Thank you Tirar for your help, this came just in time.

It takes time for some people to find their way in life. A lot of people struggle until they are 25 or 28 on where they want to be. Everyone matures at a different rate so try to always do the best you can, and work hard, it pays off eventually.

@lydieluck77537 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for making this video and of course mentioning me *hugs*! I think one of my biggest problems is I was raised in a household where I was not given encouragement and the love I so desperately needed especially from my mom who I believe has been mentally ill for a long time. I was emotionally abused, told I should have been aborted, I was not the daughter my mother wished for and put down at every chance and the sad thing is my father did nothing about it. I felt like an outsider beginning as far back as my childhood and it did not help that I was bullied by peers as I was going through puberty. I could go on about unfortunate things that I have endured through the years but I think all of the trauma has made me a more compassionate and open minded person in the end. I will be 30 in 18 days and feel I have not accomplished much but I am going to try and turn that around this year and fight my hardest to find my talents and fulfill them! Thank you for all the wisdom and advice I will take all three of these things into account in the new year! P. S. Do you really have a file on me? Haha 😆

I agree with the placebo affect and how reinforcing it with negativity will basically make you negative and the same can be said reinforcing it with positivity. I've tried this method, just stopping myself every time I say something negative about myself. I'll "flip the script" and it seems to work in the short run but if I let up even for a day I can fall back in that negative cycle so fast I won't even notice it till I'm negative all over again. This is something you have to practice diligently every day almost constantly for it to work cause initially your brain knows you're just trying to trick it into a different mode of thought. It does work but it takes real effort, no easy fix. Thanks for this doc!
@TirarADeguello6 жыл бұрын
Of course, you are 100% correct. Of course it takes a monumental effort and constant diligence to combat all the negative arrow barbs you receive in any given day. You're also right, you're trained from very young to accept failure so you must rewire your brain to accept and embrace success. You're on track. I could listen to your witnes all day. We need more honest people like you in this world.

Christopher Schneider yeah I learned that depression will always be within you. I acknowledge my depression. It's just your choice to either ignore it or give in to it. Depression to me is now an illusion, that held me back. I fought through depression 2013-2016. 2017 was the year it all turned around. I'm now happy and healthy not only physically but mentally. I've been struggling with these feelings for a while now. I have GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and these disorders really took a hit on me as it is, but it became an even bigger thunder cloud when I started to get depressed because I kept trying to be the people pleaser, I kept thinking irrational thoughts, I became afraid of reality because I was lazy and I had no confidence in myself. I didn't ask for help in school and I just barely did homework and I was socially awkward because I couldn't stand living in my body. Me, who is me? What am I? What does it all mean? I've been thinking about therapy for a long time but I lacked the energy to even take in advice. I've been watching your vids for a while because your videos are creative and hilarious and sometimes quite relaxing, but I got the notification for this video and you grabbed my attention right away, and I think I'm cured. You made me feel so much better, and I now feel more driven to do school, and more driven to go to martial arts, and more driven to eat healthy and get outside and I feel wiser and stronger and my heart feels warmer and steady and pleasant. Thank you for the life changing wisdom.

There's a good deal of drama in my house. Constant fighting and it got worse today when my mom picked up a sentence I was saying to my friend when I was venting to him. Just letting go really. And she used that in the argument without knowing the context it was in. And then after being lulled into a false sense it was over, they started again and my step dad pulled me into it by saying, I hope your happy. And then my mom later on after crying to me about how she was angry I tolerated being mistreated by my step siblings she then suddenly turned when I told her I wasn't really comfortable. She snapped and pretty much told me I didn't care. Even though I was shaking because I was filled completely with anxiety. I just don't know what to do anymore. It feels like I'm constantly walking on eggshells and if I say something wrong I'll be judged and snapped at. I didn't realize how much I needed this today. I thought I'll watch it later and it turned out, it came in a time of need.
