You remind me of my dad. Last Saturday is 4 years since he passed away. I have depression and anxiety and severe panic attacks and I just miss him. Not only did this calm me down and make me take a look at myself and my issues, but it made me feel as if my dad was still around in a way with the wisdom you have and the stories you tell and how you help me calm down. Thank you, sincerely.

I hardly ever comment on videos but this one I had to... I have suffered from anxiety for years and had my first panic attack in over 9 months on Monday... I was at work when it happened. It was extremely debilitating. I had to leave work in hysterics, schedule an emergency visit with my therapist. It took a few milligrams of Ambien and some klonopin to bring me back down to where I was thinking logically instead of emotionally. this is an amazingly comforting video and next time I'm going through "the heavy stuff" again I will remember to come to this video. Thank you again so much. this has helped me more then you know

Reasonable Racer I can't force you not to do it since you own your own life and you are the ine who is in charge of the decisions you make. But I have been there too. I had no friends (still don't have :/), no clue or whatsoever about what the future would be. so I started painting/ drawing to express my feelings. now. people are appreciating my work and I'm an inspiration to my whole artschool. life can be really hard sometimes. but only the ones who keep going forward. no matter what happens, will be looked up to someday by others who couldn't. and eventually help the ones who need it.

Not only is there nothing we can do about making mistakes, making mistakes is also the best way to learn from the world. It might seem counter-intuitive but if we were like robots and never made mistakes, we'd have died out as a species long ago. We survive the way we do because we adapt to changing environments, different cultures, different rules, rules that we know nothing about when we're born. Nothing can adapt without making mistakes, and we run the risk of adapting poorly just by being selective about how we make mistakes. The point is, we thrive because in the grand scheme of things, rather than being selective, we're full of variety. Even when every now and then, a mistake might matter to you so much. As a man, I get overly worked up about being able to fix things, but the 'I can fix it' attitude doesn't always work and I struggle with that notion. Sometimes the solution is rather than to change the situation, to help someone accept the situation. In my experience, a hug does wonders for that purpose. And if anyone can learn something from my ramblings, then I've done what I came here to do and you can take away the knowledge that it usually takes a mistake to know what's needed for next time.

This video is so important and could possibly save life's. I'm going through one of the most immense anxiety attacks in my life right now and I need anything to help right now. I feel like I can't talk to anyone about not even my parents since that would make my whole situation worse I feel helpless and like I'm suffocating. There is nothing I can do about my situation other than praying and hoping my life will not completely fall apart or get ruined in the next few days. You seem to be the only person who is able to help me calm down right now not sure if calming down is the right word but atleast not completely hyperventilating, thank you sir. I truly hope my life and my girlfriends life won't fall apart. In the mean time I can only pannick and watch your videos

I had a friend pass away suddenly a month ago and in his letter he said, "I'm sorry but I just don't see a point in living anymore". I wished he reached out to us but he never did. the sad thing is, to me. he's right. I just don't see a point or reason why I'm here. don't get me wrong, I won't ever go through with it because I have friends and family that care about me and I don't want to do that to them but I'm stuck in a place in life and I can't find the key to get out of where I'm at. I do all the right things: I'm in college, got my associates, I get hit on alot by women and ive had quite a few girlfriends and been on many dates so I know I'm not ugly, I have good work ethic, and I go to music festivals to wind down. what I don't see and understand is what purpose do I have, why was I born in the first place, what's the reason I'm on this earth? to me there's no point in being alive, my generation is so bumped up that I'll most likely get a divorce at least once and for that I don't see a point in marriage either. I'll probably never be successful money wise and even though I'm going to school for engineering and astrophysics, I'm not even sure if I want to do that for a living. to me, I was pretty much born to live a boring, pathetic life, have children, and die. that's all everyone is born to do. I just don't see a point.
@jacobwilliams94jw7 жыл бұрын
thank you for your video though. it did help me think a little bit.
@TirarADeguello7 жыл бұрын
there is always things in life to give it purpose. Discovery of new information, romance, and adventure. You need to find something you feel driven to do that makes you happy and excited about life again. Some people feel or know their purpose in life early on, and some it takes time to discover. You'll get there if you're willing to take the journey and since you asked me, it's obvious you want to discover it. I'm sorry about your friend.
@jacobwilliams94jw7 жыл бұрын
+TirarADeguello thank you for your wisdom, I'll remember it because I was looking at the negatives and you showed me the positives. ill find my purpose someday im sure and hopefully enjoy my life and the family that surrounds me but I honestly didn't think you'd reply as most youtubers don't. I listen to ASMR because I have night terrors and insomnia so this and beer with the guys is the only way I can fall asleep fast. I promise I won't give up but your video inspired me to let something out off my shoulder that I can't tell my close friends and family without them thinking I'd actually do something dangerous to myself. I'm sorry for your son's loss but I get the feeling that he's doing better now. thank you for your videos.

The best way to deal with anxiety is to deal with it. By that I mean acknowledging that its there and understanding it is there to protect you, not harm you. I have been dealing with really bad anxiety for years, it absolutely is terrifying. Again, its perfectly natural. If you are ever having a really bad day , try chewing gum. Sounds silly, but because anxiety is as old as the species, the act of chewing gum can help. Would you stop to eat if you were being chased by something dangerous? Think about it.
