@Jane ♡ you're talking too literally. Also it's Dave who goes around the house fixing everything because he's asking how would a double observer like Shannon do this? Dave took up on himself to do it in order to grow. Also he has demon sensory but it's masculine. I'm feminine Sensory all the way at the bottom and I totally get what you're saying but it's not keeping me from growing. It's more about Fixed verses Growth mindset 😊

ISTP here. I fixed my car by standing on the shoulders of giants. I referred to a manual to know what the min/max specs on the part was. Got the new part which was produced by a manufacturer. Took pieces to a machine shop when I don't have the tooling to do it myself. Got electricity from the grid to power my shop lights so I can see what's happening. The list goes on and on. Just cause I'm alone to turn a wrench doesn't mean I did it by myself.

Loving these solo videos and I can confirm this template. I had a near death experience internally and externally that lasted a year at age 42. I did not know if I was going to live and I lost everything that I had always depended on (money, physical and mental health, partner, status, job). Internally I called it a nervous breakdown because I didn't know what else to call it. I never realized (until watching this) that I needed both my inner and outer worlds to fully collapse so that I was forced to face my deepest fears and finally come to a place of genuine surrender and learn how to take responsibility, trust others, and not have to hide from my fears. I could tell there was shift happening when I started surrenduring. Since that experience, I am quieter, I can feel peace like never before, I have more experiences of love reflected from my inner and outer worlds, and so much more gratitude. On the other end, my ego got fried to a crisp; I don't make as much money now, I don't have the looks, the physical strength, or measures of external "succes" that I used to run to for protection. But that experience saved my life when nothing else was working. It allowed the real me to get free and get on the path to living.

50 years! Where i live we have children who lost most of their family and friends and home "after Turkey earthquake" but still when you reach them and ask them if they want or what do they feel You will hear some of them talking with a smile that their family and friends are now in heaven, and they thanks God for all of his gifts that This is coming out of kid's mouth So adorable I know a lot of ppl think that there is no God But believe me, humans needs the idea of a great God who can protect them and help them when they feels down

I can't really speak to a lot of this 'self-growth' stuff but the part about the way society treats depression is 100% accurate. Yes there are chemicals that are causing it in the brain, but that doesn't mean chemicals are the right solution. Depression often comes directly from things in people's lives. It's a sign of problems that need to be addressed. Various different people will give different prescriptions for how to do that - eat better, work out more, start charitable work, make new friends, whatever - and I think they get a little too married to the specific solution that they feel worked for them, which might be pretty bad advice for someone else. The point isn't that you *need* to do any of those specific things. The point is, your life is not working, for you. And you can make it better.

I've met so many people like this. As an ESFJ (Fe-Si), I've been blessed with a growth mindset, surrounded by a super supportive family and different groups of friends who also accept and support me. I'm aware and others bring awareness to me when my worldview is being darkened by my unhealthy demon Ti! Very insightful video. It gives me compassion and also understanding of how the world does not revolve around me, but the world revolves around one another! 👏👏👏

@Jane ♡ Sometimes. As I got older, I'm starting to become more aware of my needs first, than others. It's a balancing of the Fe-Ti axis. Even though I "should" doesn't mean I must do it. The goal is to be an Alpha ESFJ 😉

Super interesting. Rumi said “Welcome the guests. Even if they're a crowd of sorrows, Who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture, still, treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you out For some new delight. The dark thought, the shame, the malice, Meet them at the door laughing, And invite them in.” It’s mindfulness, in a way, what you’re talking about. It’s acceptance, as you say. It’s welcoming in, and responding instead of reacting. It’s curiosity. It’s choosing the positive. It’s choosing to not listen to negative spirals or running for drugs. It’s sitting in it, learning about it. And it’s fucking hard. And, if you sit in it and listen for what you need to hear, eventually it goes away like a cloud passing. I’m not a doctor and I don’t know what it’s like to have clinical depression, but that’s the way.

You guys are lowkey making me want to deliberately fuck up my life so I can have some amazing anime redemption arc Nah I'm not gonna do that. I always thought to myself that I was really lucky to be born into the environmental circumstances I'm in because I seem to just be genetically predisposed to severe mental illness. I used to think "If my parents were just average or god forbid bad, I would probably be on the streets addicted to drugs or dead in a ditch". Then I met a friend who I thought "wow, she's really similar to me". She had a more difficult childhood than me and I learned that she actually did end up in that sort of situation and has had multiple near death experiences. Wtf, she's only 21. She went through all that shit between the ages of 18 and 20. Every time I think about dropping out of university or quitting a job I just think about what she went through and how stupid it would be to trace through the same bad life events that someone else had already suffered through. The saddest part is, she probably could have been saved from all of it had she been diagnosed with autism and ADHD before reaching adulthood.

In life how to identify which action is "rearranging the furniture" vs "long extension chord"? and why would it be wrong to take the "long extension chord" path if it serves me better?
@anonymouslearner2454
@anonymouslearner2454 Жыл бұрын
Life just slapped in the face and taught me: long extension chord solution is the one that works quickly in the short term, but in the long term causes problems and overall takes more time. The rearranging the furniture solution is the one that takes more time or costs more presently, but gives off benefits in the future.

Depression is unnatural, no wild animal is depressed unless they've been injured for a long time or something. Native people don't get depressed either. The main reason humans are depressed is that they're eating an unnatural diet; wifi and toxicity doesn't help. It is not something which happens without cause, it is not something that happens because of Fi, it is something that you've unknowingly done to yourself over time by living like a modern human. Humans are designed to eat at least 80% raw animal products. Fix your diet and avoid environmental toxins or radiation and it's nigh impossible to become depressed.
@TheShadow999888
@TheShadow999888 Жыл бұрын
Agreed that unnatural lifestyles contribute massively to depression by depriving us of the things we need to be at our healthiest and most capable. Regardless there still exists a form of depression that every human experiences as a consequence of the dysfunction in our lives caused by our immaturity and unwillingness to take accountability over our demons. The ability of a healthy person with a natural lifestyle/diet to cope with and eventually overcome this state is far higher than that of the average person but it's not so high that they get to escape this form of depression entirely.

@@jane21212 Can't feed a lion straw and grass and expect it to be happy, can you? Humans are incredibly resilient but function the best on their natural diet. So have some oysters, tartar or sushi and feeling good becomes as easy as breathing. To become depressed you have to focus your attention on an imagined hell, and healthy people don't do this. Their intelligence is clear and wordless, without theory on how to be happy. It is all so ridiculously simple people can't accept it - can you?
@oscarl.3563
@oscarl.3563 Жыл бұрын
@@TheShadow999888 Just don't think about it. Imagine no demons and you've got none. Everyone has got limitations to their character, it's like cars and their functions - you can't be like a tractor and like a sports car at the same time. One is strong, the other is fast. You are what you are, the tractor isn't lacking in any way, it is perfectly what it is. It doesn't have to integrate demon-speed or go on a journey racing the nation...if that makes sense... Maybe not, well whatever. Just give it the right gas and you're set.
