Seriously you gotta be on the radio and in the CAD. It would still have the in-car radio in it after all so it'd be realistic. That way you can call in and ward off any radio queries. Cause that's probably what's happening; cop calls in to get a unit ID and no one answers.

CVPIfan All patrol unit has the same unit number on top which is 2B-54 (maybe I could be wrong). But units have their number on their licence plate, but he have a normal one.

Polecat doesn't when he's LEO and I've seen several units that don't either, he can't really put a unit number on the plate cause it'll give it away for sure

I bet I know what tipped them off. When he signed into the CAD he clicked the buttons for 10-41 and 10-8. Dispatch can see that, they may have tried to radio in and he wasn't responding. Either that or when Buggs code zero'd and Polecat told the other officer he was taking care of the car, they tried to radio him there too and also didn't get an answer.

Should have 22 everything that happened when buggs crashed, only reason they were able to tell you weren't a real cop is because of buggs crashing and you having to save the vehicle. Complete fail rp if you ask me using someone crashing to be able to tell he wasn't an actual cop.

the reason they caught you is because when buggs left and you went to the car he noticed that you were not talking over radio therefore dispatch had no info and then the cop behind you was probably listing over the radio and you did not say anything and then he knew so if you want to check it yourself heres the time- 11:22

Buggs crashed so yes the other cops seen it but that isn't failrp, it's no ones fault, it should just be 22. The only possible giveaway was that polecat followed buggs every move which looks suspicious and other than that the dispatch or other officers may have tried to contact polecat via discord/teamspeak (what have you) while he was waiting for buggs to reconnect and when polecat failed to make contact back that would've thrown a red flag as well.

I think it was a combo of you signing into CAD as an officer with your PC account as well as the license plate wasnt a unit number. The officer probably ran it or asked about it then asked for an additional unit to help out with it.

The license plates of cops don't matter. It was combo of Buggs crashing and running out of the vehicle and Polecat leaving his vehicle to move it. He didnt look like a legit cop at all. So it was obvious.
