Love your abstract work! Do you prime your canvas with gesso or just white paint? Also, do you wet the canvas before your start? Use any acrylic mediums with the paints?

I've been trying this technique with mixed results. Would you mind explaining step by step the sprayed water and blotting process? Do you try to keep the paint thin on the canvas, or does it matter? Do you spray while the paint is still wet and then wait for the paint to dry before blotting? If so, how long do you wait? Thanks in advance.
