Thanks, really appreciate you taking time to do these tests.

once again you deliver the goods..best no b.s to the point detector test videos on YT and i've about seen them all..saw your most recent video of the attack coil on your excal 2 on the beach cutaway and was curious who did the hardwiring on it....keep em coming boss

Love the test garden videos you have with the AT PRO I am hoping you have a test garden video with the 9x12 concentric coil

I had the machine set exactly the same for both coils. This video simply demonstrated what was expected, a well balanced larger coil will go deeper than a stock coil. In upcoming videos, I will set the machine for maximum depth to see just how far down this NEL will penetrate. Thanks

Thanks for the tests. I have heard mixed reviews about these coils. Are you going to do a test with high conductors. Thanks.

sounds like you were running the AT Pro in the standard Mode according to the Bell tones I heard. If this is correct then the Pro Mode should detect even deeper!

Thanks for the tests!! that info is great to know, I'm looking into possibly getting a large coil for my AT Pro, here in the Pacific NW ground balance is for me always in the high 80's to 90 or 92. It sounds like the test were done in standard mode. Did you do a test in Pro mode as well? Just curious, maybe I missed it, but its supposed to get more depth. Thanks again!

I plan on entering this hobby in the coming weeks. It is something that I have been wanting to do for some time now. Without boring you with my specific circumstances, I have decided the AT Pro is the right machine for me. I will be getting the stock unit, along with the DD 5 X 8 inch coil. My game plan is to use the DD coil for the most part at first, having the stock coil as a back-up, and to use in less trashy areas. At some point, probably next year, I will get a larger coil, like this 15 incher in the video, and go back over the same ground, and see if I can find anything I missed that might be deeper. I figure this will give me the best chance to find everything at the old ww2 base I plan on searching. I have some more research to do, but I think this is a sound idea, anyone have any thoughts?

hi, great teat thinking of getting a larger dd for my at, where you in pro zero for the test as best for depth .as it sounded to be in standard mode???

Yes, the NEL coils are waterproof and can be fully submersed.

Very impressive! any NEL coils for Teknetics Omega 8000 and what would you recommend?

Is that the 15 x 15 or the 15 x 17 I just got the 15 x 17 and haven't had the chance to use it yet. what do you think about the 15 x 17. Thanks for the video it was very interesting.

Great reviews. Have you tested the deus with the large coil and if so where could I find the results please. And settings you used

Tell me, is the nel waterproof brother, I see that the cord to the machine has waterproofing but is the coil?
@DetectorComparisons11 жыл бұрын
Yes they are available in many sizes for the Omega 8000. If you go to Gold Digger Metal Detectors . com you will see what is available for your machine. As far as what I would recommend, it depends on what type of hunting you do... small coils for trashy sites and larger coils for maximum depth and coverage.

It will be interesting to do the same with the AT Max in Zero-00 mode and in All-metal mode ( stock coil thunder coil tornado coil ... etc )

Those are also small objects. If there was something bigger at 12" or even more, it would pick it up. Some large, possibly iron item would be picked up at 15" i'm sure. I dug a wheelbarrow with Garrett Ace 250 with normal coil that was about half a meter under the earth.

Impressive test! Have you tried the 15" NEL coil on the At pro, at a salt water beach? Thanks HH Frank
@DetectorComparisons11 жыл бұрын
Frank, depth and target ID accuracy are greatly reduced in wet salt water sand. These single frequency machines a have rough time of it especially at higher sensitivity levels. I would not recommend buying any larger coil for the AT Pro if you're getting it just to hunt wet salt water sand. Carter

Hi nice vid Did you try it in pro mode at 12 inch bet it picks it up then as it totally different machine in pro mode.

I use the BIG NEL coil on the AT-Pro.... If you swing a little faster you will gain more depth.. Try it !! Cheers
@numisaccent67239 жыл бұрын
Are you sure there are no other metals underneath your target area that could interfere with depth? ...like a small nail?
@DetectorComparisons9 жыл бұрын
+Numisaccent The test area is clean with no iron.

It's called an AT PRO why not do the test in PRO mode? This doesn't show the true ability of the machine. Just sayin....
@DetectorComparisons8 жыл бұрын
You miss the point of the video, its not to see how deep the AT Pro will go, it is to show how the stock coil will do compared to the NEL coil with the settings left the same on the detector. I have other videos showing the AT Pro in PRO mode....
