#2 Should have won, they had the most creative of the four couples.

I thought the third couple was best…but maybe I was just biased by their MJ music choice. 🤷♂️😂

Do you have every episode from 1979? I would love to see all of them. A friend from Milwaukee competed.

Unfortunately (as of now) this is the only episode I have, but if I get more they'll be up ASAP!

The contestants in Dance Fever were like professional dancers. The judges surely had a hard time.

~ R.I.P. Ron Palillo, Michael Jackson, John Ferrara. The music is eternal, ditto the dancing. Living legends: Gavin MacLeod, Deney Terrio, Mimi Kennedy (now on TV show Mom). Cheers, DAVEDJ ~

Yeah, it's pretty easy to notice how utterly hyper Disco had become between the last months of the 70s and early 80s.

Deney should promote to the networks a new Dance Fever, same format with competing couples dancing unique styles of dance judged by celebrity judges and maybe one professional dancer judge. Deney would be the host. I know it would be a hit in today's boring TV market.

Sorry to slightly curb your enthusiasm for nostalgia of the late 70's to early eighties Craig, but the concept of Dance Fever will not necessarily work in the multi channel universe we're witnessing right now.Programs such as Dancing With The Stars have made shows such as DF old & obsolete, since it only promotes Disco-Steps & its related elements while ignoring other established genres of Dance

The contestants had some great moves, but you'd think most of them with the exception of couple # 3 doing a dance number to a Michael Jackson song could have chosen some better music to do their dance routines in the top 40 selection like Solid Gold did? A lot of the music is downright hokey, but then again, Disco sort had a "rebirth" in the form of House Music later, so we can kind of forgive how bad a lot of the beats were.

Does anyone remember the couple that danced to a song called " I just gave up on you"?I'm looking for that song.
