As a K9 handler, I'm wondering what exactly happened... There's no way I see any suspect, regardless of age, level a firearm at my K9 and then I allow that suspect to shoot my K9 without me shooting back.

The kid may have been in fear for his life. I don’t condone a 13 year old having a firearm, but in this case it may have saved his life.

I love my animals but at the end of the day. This should not be a human life equals to nothing compared to an animal. Look how many people that suffer from losing ones. Under unlawful situations. What if citizens had these animals. And law enforcement's invade privacy. At the end of the day it's a contradicting law
