We have der dutchman and yoders restaurant in the Pinecraft section of Sarasota, Florida. Its an Amish village for snow birds! Sarasota- The Air Conditioned City!! Siesta Key Beach is here- 1bof the top 10 beaches in the WORLD! 😊

My wife and I were there last week and two weeks before that. We only live an hour away, so it's really easy to make a quick run. You can't beat the bread pudding. Don't bother watching your carbs when you visit this area, just enjoy yourself.

I ate breakfast there Tuesday. Had the 2 eggs over easy, 2 pancakes and bacon with homemade white toast. Was a very nice meal. That frozen treat sounds interesting. The views of the valley were beautiful from their parking lot.

My husband always liked that Carlisle Gifts. Back when we visited Ohio Amish country, they had furniture, candles, and crafts. And of course, always a trip to Coblenz Chocolates. So many beautiful places but the beautiful countryside is awesome! E njoy Ed visiting it again!

It's nice that they actually put a prayer on the menu. Nice variety on the buffet for breakfast. The desserts looked more like something you would see on a lunch or dinner buffet. Not that we would ever complain about dessert. The fruit slush looked interesting. It looked very refreshing! Glad y'all enjoyed it. Looks like a great area to spend some time.

My grandpa would make something similar to mush. He would cook oatmeal the night before and spread it out into a pan and refrigerate it over night. In the morning he would cut it up into squares fry it in the frying pan until crispy then would spread butter over it and put some syrup. I loved it, so yummy.

They have a banquet hall in the basement. My husband's company used it for their Christmas party for years. Over 500 employees and spouses. The restaurant did a fantastic job every time.

I've been to the locations in Middlebury, IN and Sarasota, FL. The menus are similar except they have head cheese in Middlebury. I can also vouch for their Strawberry Whipped Cream pie. It was the most delicious pie I've ever tasted. I hope you both have a wonderful 4th and eat lots of good food.

Loved the way you could choose the buffet or from the menu for those of us who don't eat much. I thought the mush was interesting because I have never had that. In Amish country, their buildings are so close to the road. And they hang beautiful hanging baskets for everyone to enjoy. Bobbie always compliments the staff for their wonderful service. And the beautiful landscape outside. Just a great video package of everything. Oh I love the menu shots. I can pick would I would like. Often see it on your plates, too! Really enjoyed the video! The food here looked great! The maple donut looked delicious and the pineapple/banana/orange/sierra mist slush sounded amazing. We used to visit the Der Dutchman in Waynesville, Ohio but the restaurant caught on fire and they never re-opened their doors. We've never tried breakfast at the Der Dutchman but remember their great food and apple butter. You guys always deliver excellent videos!

Appreciate you guys. This restaurant is part of a group here one being in Berlin the Farmstead, Dutch Valley is in Sugarcreek and this one in Walnut Creek. The other one is in Florida. They are so popular here in Holmes County. The slush was amazing and we hope to get it again. We will have a lunch/dinner review from the Farmstead this week also. I can't believe for all of that they only charge $11.99 a person, out here in California you'd be looking at $20 - $24 a person. You just go into the phone settings in the camera and pick the hyperlapse function. It takes around every 20 seconds and makes it one second. You saw around 3 miles or so in 12 seconds. We love using this function on the drives like the Lancaster Drive Thru we just did. Also the slow mo looks great also on water. Check them out in the camera setting of your phone. TCB⚡️⚡️

Mush is just cooked cornmeal. You let it set overnight and it will get firm. And then you fry it, put lots of butter on it 😎😎
