I grew up with tame cows and my Mom's tactic was to put their favorite treat in a pail and then shake it and call and walk back to the field. You might need to let them get a nibble first to help them understand what you are doing. 🥰 Good luck.

You need to bucket train the cows. Put alfalfa cubes in the bucket. After a while they will follow the bucket/noise. As with any training of animals, it takes a few weeks. For the floor, how about a bunch of acro props to make sure it holds? I think I remember seeing some in previous videos, maybe you can borrow a few more locally.

Maybe one of those electrical tape fences are in order. I would have said 20 euros if asked is fair and reasonable. What if you got sponsor from a local winery might help with funding and a cheese farm? You can build commode like the Victorian ones fill with ash if you have any and surround with a marquee? Hanbury Hall in midlands still have them around you can ask to see them by photo might give you an easier and faster way to have toilets. It's a National Trust building sure they would help you :)

Hi Amy, I'm sorry, for my previous message I sent some advice about keeping it simple. You most likely have more experience organizing than I. You have everything but your naughty cows under control. After that walk with the cows, I would have needed to go to the nearest closet with a pillow in hand and a good scream! I think the concert will be a remarkable success. Everyone loves music and if you don't make money this year, it sounds like you'll make a brilliant impression on everyone and next year and the following years it will be more and more of a success. That's what I should have written and I'm so sorry I didn't. (Both thoughts were in my head. I'm not making this up; your ability to get things done with two children running around and a husband who is passionate and involved in his stuff floors me every time!) Most of all, I hope you can enjoy the process. Enjoying the cows' escape is not expected!
@Chroniclesofrosieres3 ай бұрын
You’re very kind! Life here is always a challenge but I guess we have it set up that way. Yesterday I got to wander around a field at sunset for 2 hours rather than sit at my desk working. I feel like thanking the cows rather than telling them off!

First, breathe and know we're pulling for you. Ok, so no mini-bus. Do kind neighbors have vans they'd like to volunteer to drive and ferry people? Barring that, perhaps advertise that attendees would be most helpful car-pooling with others going. I'm just afraid parking will be an utter nightmare.
@Chroniclesofrosieres3 ай бұрын
It’s going to be fine, don’t worry! There’s nowhere to ferry them from with minibuses anyway! We live in the mountains - it’s not jam packed with car parks. We just park in fields! I have a plan and a back up plan, fear not.
@janeharris69253 ай бұрын
The problem on just one loo is that those who need facilities and can’t access that loo will do their “ duty” in uncontrolled areas. Not good with kids and animals around. Eyyyyy.
@Chroniclesofrosieres3 ай бұрын
Jane please don’t worry. Even if people want to see somewhere it’s not a problem. It’s the countryside. Our animals wee everywhere all the time. So does our son.
@janeharris69253 ай бұрын
I’m pretty sure I ‘d have those cattle turned into steaks soon. Not fair to ask you to manage those and all the other stuff and you could get seriously hurt like Mark did and no one around to help. Maybe you could trade them for donkeys, a more manageable livestock choice. Seems like they’d do better on flat land. How does all this do with wild boars??I assume you have them. Seems like most of France does.
