Alan Towers, the reporter, didn't have much good to say about either team! It wasn't dull though was it? I saw Ormondroyd hit a ball so hard once it would still be going if it hadn't hit the net. Think it was against QPR yet I'm probably wrong. Yes I am, it was Kent Nielson.

Dull dull boring game - NOT ON YOUR NELLIE!! Shame it was only highlights. Shilton & Seally, 1,000 games each, well Shilton must have been near it. Forced to play to cover his gambling debts would explain his tenure in the green jersey. His saves were of the highest order. With McGrath & Regis also still evading the sickle it was a game of the highest order.
