Hi folks, Apologies in advance. Couple errors in the edit. Firstly, I accidentally put the Sunderland team sheet in, it should of course have shown Valentin in for Gassama. Secondly, the video goes a bit saggy between 8 and 12 mind. Nothing I could do to rectify it, but the audio was OK, so you'll have to battle through my robotic movements.

The difference in quality was blatantly obvious, it was a relief for us Leeds fans to see things gel from what initially was looking like a mess. Our midfield and frontmen were on it, Wednesday, unfortunately, have a very insipid midfield, Bannan doesn't have the influence anymore and you'll struggle because of this against better sides. Yeah it's a bit of a two tier system. If you don't win promotion in the first two years you're in trouble. Leeds, Burnley, Sheffield United, Norwich and West brom have been in that mix for a while where they go up and down like a yo-yo. Mental that seaside towns like Bournemouth, Brighton are pretty much established PL clubs now despite having less fans than either Sheffield club, Leeds, Middleborough, Sunderland.

Leeds fan here, obviously pleased with the win, but putting that to one side, I really enjoyed this video. Constructive criticism and praise, and being old school like yourself. I'm also a firm believer that if you win the midfield battle, you've a good chance of winning the game. I don't think you were being harsh regarding your keeper going down a little early for the 2nd, I agree totally. He did commit far too early. Both teams are in need of a few additions, it's blatantly obvious. Personally, I do like ya gaffer, and I wouldn't change him. All the best for the rest of the season ( apart from the return leg at ER 😁). Finally, you're not alone, my fellow dinosaur. There's plenty of us still kicking about.🤣 MOT.

Fair assessment mate. Leeds fan here with my take on things. Leeds quality told, it was men v boys most of the game. I think that Wednesday have a decent manager who will organise and set his team up with what he has to maybe achieve mid table finish. This is not a criticism but Wednesday IMO are a big physical team who's main threat is a long throw, they remind me of Luton, that's how they gained promotion with a long throw, and feed of the scraps, not a good advert for football. I would prefer football to be the winner.

Spot on Jim. I have no idea why we're not playing 3 in the middle of park. Danny did it last season, 3 centre backs, wing backs, and 2 up top. Press when we need to and sit in when they overload. Get a grip, Danny. We need expected results against Millwall and QPR.

I used to work in Sheffield as a Leeds fan and always enjoyed their plain talking...good City, good folk. We will beat a lot and heavily with players we have coming in. Keep your manager Owls and you might be alright.

Hi Jim, Hope you're well and rested after the close season, I've been away and have tried to keep up with events and going's on at S6. For me at the moment, we do seem to have strengthened the squad on paper, but look to be lacking in quality. Leeds taught us a lesson, they were a yard faster than us, quicker in thought of mind and fleet of foot, and had us running all over the place. More concerning though is the fact we created nothing and could still be playing now and still not created a decent chance. We had lots of huff & puff but kept running into cul de sacs and Leeds just picked us off time and time again. Still early in the season and the 2 defeats have come against 2 of the teams that will be pushing for promotions, no need to panic just yet. Does Danny know his best 11, not sure, but he certainly needs to re look at his tactics and assertain whether the players he has at his disposal now, can play the way he wants, and get the results we need to keep us in and around mid table. Give a few of the youngsters a run out at Grimsby, and for me, our best centre back Ihekwie needs some minutes and get him up to speed along with Nathaniel Chalobah assuming he is fit. Fair one this pal, for my money your problem is Bannan, when your up against it where is he? You also alluded to your keeper being prone to hitting the deck too early, you’re spot on. What I will say is if you watch it back have a look specifically at Gruev, he is so understated but had an excellent game. Not going to wish you well for the rest of the season, I haven’t forgotten Gordon Watson. Like your vid though.

I agree, tough job for max lowe against James but I definitely wouldn't have him starting the next. Also, sat on T1 in perfect view of second goal. Beadle definitely could have done better, down to early, well off his line. Easy take for their lad

Yes I saw it same as you. Exposed in the centre of midfield. Needed a third man in there....dare I say Will Vaulks! Hopefully Shay Charles can be that man. Reality check. We aren't going to be challenging at the top. DC doesn't have the money to buy the sort of players needed to do that. But an installation of hope, I think Sunderland and Leeds will be amongst the top teams this year.

we have to tweak tactics against the bigger teams, coz there good enough to play through the press and make us look like idiots. against the lesser relegation threatend teams those tactics will work the majority of the time. were really missing a cdm, the holes in that midfield are rediculous.

Never rated beadle,never will,he isht a very good keeper at all,yeah hes a good shot stopper but everything else is weak,passong is weak,just hoofs balls anywhere with no direction and he should stand his ground like you said but flopped to the floor so quickly! So many fans slagged off dawson but he stood his ground! Far better keeper then beadle in my eyes

I still think Beadle is a good keeper, and genuinely think he'll play at the top. But he's only a kid still and I do think we'll see some errors to his game at this stage.

Way too passive and a few players went missing Windass the biggest culprit ...iorfa had to step up at one bit and run through midfield on his jacks! I'm worried about our full backs as already cracks are starting to apear and we like most teams play all the tactics through here ...Lowe is average at best and Valery needs to learn he's not playing with technically gifted premiership players.
