MJX HyperGo 14210 - We complained..They Listened!

*ALERT!* This is not the model that goes into ultra crazy mode by pressing the ESC button 5 times. This is the 14210. It’s not in the manual, and I’ve tried it. The H14BM, which is an even newer model only available on Amazon currently, is the one that does that. ALSO- I have tested it, and paddle tires of the same diameter do not lower the top speed. (Though admittedly the paddles on this model are slightly smaller, which is contributing to the lower speed than expected). Also comment winner has been chosen. You guys rock!! 👍👍

well those from Amazon got ''speed button'' on esp. I'm from EU and we rather buy from Aliexpress than Banggood, ( some Ali sellers delivers here from Spain, France and Germany ) and those 14210 comming from Ali are now V2 ( version 2 ) and comes unlocked ( actualy got no ''rookie-kids'' slow mode, only full blast. Anyways I'm a rookie and even S2 on 70 % is still crazy fast for me :) But from this video, mabye on peddal tyres will be more controllable.

GO HYPER GO GO!! My first RC was the MJX Hyper Go H16. I bought it a couple days after Christmas last year. I still have and bash the heck out of this thing! Almost a year now, I’ve only had one breakage, the right front lower “A” arm after I, NOOB at the time, slammed into a curb at full speed at an angle. That night, I ordered a pair of new ones from the “Jungle”. Only took a couple days to get replacement, the price was so low, I figured I was only getting one, I received a PAIR! In the meantime I was so HYPER to GO back to bashing the next day, I took a play out of YOUR playbook, grabbed a soldering iron, a black zip tie and learned to weld it back together. It’s not like I could break it any worse. Can You believe the weld held up for nearly 2 weeks of hard core bashing? I finally changed out the new one.(but, I re-Welded the broken one, it’s a spare now, ha ha !) I’ve had so much fun by myself, the price was so right, I was able to buy My Dad one as an early Father’s Day gift. At first, He thought I was crazy buying him a toy but, after taking it outside, he quickly changed his mind. This ain’t no Toy!! Now we have the best “father and son times” ripping these at the local school yard. BTW, I’m 54 yrs young. Just this past weekend, while we were ripping up the local school yard, a Police Officer pulled up, blocked the entrance to the lot we were jamming in and said, “all right fellas, Y’all realize there is a speed limit in this lot, right? Ha Ha ha!!”. The Officer then said, I LOVE RC CARS! I blocked the entrance so no cars could come through. I’ve been watching y’all from a distance and LMAO!! I had to come over and see what kinda RC’s were taking all y’all’s awful driving skills, abuse and still surviving. “What Are those, a couple of ARRMA’s? No sir, I have an ARRMA at home that I like very much but,since we each have a 1:16 MJX HYPER GO, whenever we have a few minutes or one of us is feeling a little down, we get together and always end up laughing and giggling until our faces hurt. The officer said, he just bought a New “4x4 Stampede” and after 2 outings of he and his son taking turns, it was on his work bench needing a couple minor parts. I finally convinced the Officer to take mine for a spin. After about one minute, He asked, “how much were these?” “Where can I get one?” I told him “BangGood”, “Amazon”, “Ali-express”, lots of places. I couldn’t believe it but the Officer opened his “smart phone” and ordered 2, on the spot! One for himself and one for his son! Then,asked if he could have my phone number so we could meet up and have a major bash. He then informed us of a BMX pump track and a skateboard park near by I never knew existed. Of course he said to go while school was in session or when no one was using. Another Cool Georgia Police Officer I’ve had the pleasure of meeting for something besides a speed warning. So, Technically I guess I sold him 2 MJX HYPER GO cars! Well, there performance sold themselves. The more RC’s out there the better, I say!! Thank You “Derby City RC”, You and Your awesome sons, super sense of humor, we never miss a single video drop over the past year. We Love, Your CHANNEL!! Your No BS, straight truth, good, the bad, the ugly reviews are GOLDEN. Then Your hilarious and informative commentary just totally seals the deal. You now have at least 5 more Major Fans down here in the Augusta Georgia area that I know of.🙃I’m sure there are many, many more! Bash on My Brotha!! 😊

So I bought this car as a newbie to the hobby. So far I’ve broken a couple parts in just a handful of uses. And I don’t even drive it on anything but grass and I never jump it. The shock replacement was easy to track down but the other part that broke has not been easy to find. Am I just having bad luck? Is this what’s to expect from cheaper cars? Would I be more satisfied paying more for an arrma rc? Would I get more durability? Easier to buy parts? I know things are going to break, I guess it would just be nice to be able to find parts easier when I needed them.

I bought a foambox14210 from ali and got a V2. Then Spektrum radio (a de-cased sr410rx fit in the box) expo really helped the steering but didn't fix the throttle run-on, that must be in the ESC. Then I bought the 14209 tires, body, mount, and rear bumper to make it the badass jeep. The stiffer springs are perfect after swapping out the heavy spare tire for a drift wheel, the jeep body weighs 3x the truggy. Put the OE springs from the 14210 on your 14301 it needs them.

Have you tried the button trick? Power on, push the button five times fast and hear three beeps. It will be in high speed mode, do again to bring back to slow speed. Saw this today on a new release and wondered if they all do it???

Go Hyper Go Go... Awesome videoz, love the guy popping up from under the launch ramp. Dude, you make awesome videos while hammering the snot out of those cars. I can't believe they're holding up as good as they are. I have the HB16M and the 16207 and ran into differential issues not even beating them nearly as hard. But.. all in all, pretty damn good RC cars for the money, parts are inexpensive and pretty easy to replace. Thx for the great videos!

I guess the difference in the speed tests was due precisely to the tire change. The grippy tire has better speed performance than the paddle one. The 2S you tested with the original (grippy) tire and the 3S you tested with the paddle. Test the 3S with the original tire. Guess it will give you a real 3S speed test.

Meh. I bought into the hype of the 1/16 brushless truck and it’s pretty awful. The Rear differential constantly breaks and it is literally the hardest part to get to.

GO HYPER GO Thanks for helping me make up my mind. I think im gonna go with this one. ALSO, i think if you switch back to the original tires and do the speed test again, you will go even faster. It stands to reason that the paddle tires will have lest ground contact to hard surfaces, so you are loosing a lot of traction/thrust.

I think there is a way to program the esc from 2s mode to 3s mode I think you press the power button like 5 times to change it hope this helps should make 3s alot faster. Rc guy garage mentions it in one of his videos.

GO HYPERGO GO! Do you think a camber adjustment would help it stop flipping? It seems like its biting on the outside edge of the tyre? More camber might get it to sit flatter in corners with better grip and not trip over on the outside edges of the tyre. Just a thought. I'd be giving that a try before I tried anything else.

So, the speed is very low on the 14210 because the esc is adjusted to be at low speed. I was reading the instruction manual, and I noticed you need to press down the button on the esc 5 times to switch on the high speed mode which can do 45 mph +. That's why it's so slow.

Did you read the manual on the 14210 or on the H14BM? Very similar models, but this one doesn’t do that. It’s not mentioned in the manual, and I still tried it and it doesn’t work.

Go Hyper Go Go! I have this truck, but I keep breaking parts on it. Any recommendations (link) for shocks? I've broken multiple "landing" my small 45 degree ramp and I haven.t tried a 3s battery yet. I have also lost some of those "set screws" on the new rear shafts. I didn't do it myself, but I would recommend one drop of medium strength locktite before using it.

I haven’t looked into any other shocks for this car yet. I like the shocks it comes with but yet where the shock sits at the bottom, it’s prone to impact. Maybe needs a way to help protect it. Good to know about those set screws. Thanks!

It has the "superspeed mode". You need to push the ESC button 5 times, you'll get the beep code and after that you'll get the full speed

That’s what tons of people have told me but it didn’t work and it’s not shown in the manual. I think it’s only the even newer version that was just released, the H14BM.
