yeah it was so good that he was beaten down by the sudden fame even though Seeed wasn't unknown his solo album was a huge mainstream hit and iirc after a year or so he withdrew himself from public for a while saying he would retire as a solo artist

I want to explain some lyrics too the line: "Ich steig auf den Berg aus Dreck, weil oben frischer Wind weht" / I climb the mountain of junk for the fresh air. Where he lives, Berlin, There is a mountain of junk, Teufelsberg, wich is the tallest mountain of that city. The junk is from the 2nd world war. So kind of like the junk from the "old germany". But it is overgrown with nature and used for recreational purposes now. So it fits perfectly in the Song about a new Life. Plus it also has the rhetorical meaning of overcoming/conquering a mountain of junk (a shit life). So that you can breathe fresh air on top (have a better new life)
