No Derek, Thank You. It was a privilege watching you all these years. Those teams gave me some of the greatest memories of my childhood and you played a major part in that. My uncle introduced me to the Yankees in the late 80s when the team wasn't so good. Unfortunately he passed away before you came to the team but I know he would've loved watching you play. That era of the Yanks was great... Jeter - Mariano - Bernie - Tino - Paul Oneil - Andy.... Not overloaded with big names... But they had great personality and did what they needed to do every day. The result was 4 rings in 6. Now the Yanks seem to have learned. There will not be another Jeter - but hopefully the team can get back to that type of TEAM!!! Some of those players still live in the NY area - which says a lot.
