Very cool. The vintage MXR Flanger was only used on certain accents with the Wurlitzer through the Marshall, similar to the way Eddie used it to accent certain portions of the guitar riff to "Unchained". The settings on the flanger were all at 11:00 with the exception being the last knob on the right (Regen.) set all the way full right clockwise.

I would love a longer video (3-4 minutes) of you improvising something for us

I have a Wurlitzer console. The tone is nice. The lower octaves are nice deep tones. Not clunky or metallic pinging. Much better then their reputation suggests.

Wow, thanks for the heads up Derek! I would’ve never known if you hadn’t. But watching the vid it TOTALLY makes sense because I know he LoVES the piano, his first love! At the very beginning I thought it was “bad company” by Bad Company.

Could you do a video of you playing the so g from overhead so we can see how to play it? This is amazing
@milesfifer1715 жыл бұрын
The intro was eddie pounding on the console of the keyboard with the flanger on. I would like to see someone play the whole thing all the way through. Just remember Eddie use to turn everything wide open. So dont get scared as its ripping your face off. Hahahah. Thanks for the vid.

I have the .mogg files from Guitar Hero for this song and I don't think it's a 'blend' The left side of the track is strictly the Wurly and the trem picking guitar stuff is on the right side. He didn't blend another guitar with the keys, it was just on the other side of the stereo image. So, yeah. I guess a blend over the stereo track with guitar and Wurly but as far as the rhythm track is concerned, that's all keys.

The INTRO is Guitar though mainly. You can actually hear the momentary pick slide. Its 1-2-3-4-5-6-Slide-1-2-3-4-5 done with perfect timing ofcoarse.
