@warpedreflection3650 I've been listening to hard rock and metal since my earliest youth. When I got a self-assembled cassette from new friends with songs that they liked, there was a lot on it that I liked when listening to it several times. Four songs immediately hit my ear, and the music never let me go again. Whiplash by Metallica Hell Awaits by Slayer (today still one of my favorite songs) Crucifiction of Hellhammer and Black Metal by Venom I have rediscovered many bands for me over the decades, but no band has ever had such a "THAT'S IT" effect on me again.

I was 14 years old when South of Heaven came out. I got that tape and took it to my room to listen to for the first time. We’d just moved into a new house, parts of it were still under construction, and there were all sorts of problems with the electricity. I plugged in my stereo, pressed play, and there was a spark and a pop, and I jumped out of my skin. I thought, “What did Slayer just do to my room?!?!” After finding an outlet that worked, I listened to it over and over and became obsessed. I wanted to get all their older music and begged my parents for Reign in Blood for my 15th birthday. My folks - God bless ‘em - did just that despite that album cover and all those song names. Still a huge fan.

Out of all of those reactors, I love Aileen the most. Because she truly loves metal. So many reactors don't even like metal, but they don't want to disappoint their viewers which may cause them to get un-subs, so they pretend to enjoy it and nod along... That's why I pretty much stopped watching like 90% of reactor videos. Lost in Vegas is also good, because they are 100% honest and tell you when they don't like a song and the viewers appreciate that, which is why they have more subscriptions. You usually can tell the fakers though, which again is probably 90% of them... I imagine with lots of those reactors as soon as the video stopped said, Man, that was worst garbage I ever heard! , but for some reason the viewers are naive enough to believe they actually like it just because they say they do.... lol.

@@themulattomaker2602 EXACTLY, that's what I enjoy about Lost in Vegas. I don't listen to them much anymore, as they never review many of the bands that I like, but they are 100% honest. I mean if people actually get their feelings hurt because a reactor doesn't like a song they suggested, then they obviously have issues.. But yea Lost in Vegas will never trash a song, but they will say if it's n ot for them and why they don't care for it, but they are 100% authentic AND HONEST, which is incredibly rare with reactor channels these days.

Its the greatest thrash song ever. Its hard to explain the impact of hearing this album in 1986.....these people think their minds are blown decades later? If you ever saw them anywhere between the mid 80s to the early 90s, I guarantee you saw the most intense, wild, aggressive concert ever....never happen again, it was intense. People would lose their minds.

I became a fan of Slayer back in the 80s thanks to their first two albums Show No Mercy and Hell Awaits, they already had a pretty fast and hard sound, but I was blown away by the entire album Reign in Blood. 10 songs and total play time of just under 30 minutes, the album is a rollercoaster ride for your ears.

Lol, all I can say to those viewers who had no idea what they were walking into is WELCOME TO METAL MUSIC and WELCOME TO THE PIT 😁, Slayer is one of the four bands that cemented speed and thrash metal, they are a super heavy weight and I have to agree with most of the other comments I’ve seen, the WTF expressions…….classic Oh, side note, Ice-T metal band Bodycount released their cover of this a year or two ago called Reign in Blood, not a bad cover

1986 Halloween night! SLAYER ! played at the Moore theater in downtown Seattle. I was 17 years old and it was life changing! SLAYER'S first album came out in 1983, SHOW NO MERCY! My band would play this song in between our original tunes. It was always a huge hit! I still have my 1986 SLAYER REIGN IN BLOOD TOUR T-shirt. Im not evil or satanic. I'm just a music lover. And these guys are musical gods! A night this 54 year old man will always remember, and cherish! SLAYER!!!!
