This series and walk you put together, it's pure magic. The beauty that exists at home that is off the beaten path is just what makes ireland better. But to see this video, and that view from Clonea, a place of magic from my childhood. Thank you for appreciating it's magic and beauty.

You deserve a B&B stay after persisting through that unpleasant weather! Wishing you lots of sunshine tomorrow.😊

Thanks for mentioning the anxiety. I think this stops me from going because I am nervous about finding somewhere to sleep. You are actually doing it, the walking and camping, but you find solutions. There is no magic answer but problem solving on the ground. Strangely this makes me feel better because I see that we are all having similar problems but it's not a reason not to? I hope this makes sense to somebody. Fairplay for keeping on Derek 😊. I love the self talk 'you're doing well young man' exactly right ❤😊

Hi Joanne, I spent one year riding a bicycle through africa and wild camping in wildlife corridors. I still feel anxiety camping in Ireland even without all the animals. Moral of the story: I often need to swallow a large does of ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’ on all of my trips 🙏

Did you go into Minnies bar in Dungarvan? That was my 2nd Dad’s favourite place whenever he went back home there. Though I doubt it’s the same these days. Your videos never cease to touch my heart and soul. Binge watching as missed the last year or so. Melanie

Hello you! 😉 Oh Derek! Squelch, Squelch, Squelch, but you kept on! Now thats endurance. I would be tempted to thumb a lift or be a fair weather walker. You looked as though you were enjoying your soup too. Pity you had to cut it short. Your B&B looks very cosy. I think we are getting the wind and rain here in Scotland now that you had, its wild! I love the clips showing the trees and listening to the leaves in the wind, its mesmerising. Thank you so much for doing what you do. 💜xXx

Thank you. Yes the soup was delicious. I would have stayed there all day but the longer you leave the remainder of the walk, the harder it will be :)

That looked like quite a slog at the end of the second day. It's scary how anxiety can take over but it's great to see how self aware you are to be able to recognise it., otherwise your mind could have ran wild. Thank you for taking us along on your journey, take her handy 🙌

Yeah the recovery is important and I do enjoy the comforts. I was posting a lot of videos on Facebook this year and said I only wanted to take an Ireland walk if I could do regular nights in guesthouses etc :)

I often get get a bit anxious when trying to find a good spot for camping. Hungry and tired, always finding faults and imperfections with the potential places to pitch. Next time I will try to rest and eat first and see if that helps. Thanks for your inspiring videos! Greetings from Sweden.
