I once in a while come back to this tutorial to see things I forgot with the pass of the time. Honestly, I do not think I have learnt as many concepts in other videos as you teach in this one. Can say with words how intiutive and easy was to become better with blender thanks to your work. Keep up with the fantastic work, and another time, thanks. Will be donating to your proyect soon. Greetings from Spain.

This tutorial is amazing!!! You are so entertaining! If anyone has trouble with aligning the guards this the track after giving it the array modifier and curve modifier First give apply to the array modifier And then guve apply to the curve modifier Now you can mive each gaur individually Its a lot of workto perfectly align them But if your modifier isnt aligning few of the gaurds not the way you want you can move it individually

Thank you for this tutorial - I was quite ill for few weeks recently and was unable to focus enough to continue practicing Blender. This was exactly what I needed to get back on the horse. Regarding the flickering, I noticed it was only a problem when the area lights were increased in size - the problem can be avoided by keeping them smaller and playing with positioning and lighting strength. The underlying cause seems to be something to do with Eevee using the same random seed for area lighting as another element of the rendering, from what I could gather reading some of the blender bug tickets. Currently the solution seems to be messing around with lighting until it stops, or digging into the sorcery that is Eevee light probes.

I think that flickering has something to do with 'SOFT SHADOWS' because when I turned it off, the flickering just... 🏃

Derek Elliot you probably already know this. But disable soft shadows in the render properties and that should eliminate the flickers.

Ok guys I'm a beginner and I need some help with this. When customizing the speed of the cars, where they slow down and speed up, I slowed them down to a speed that seems somewhat natural for the turns. But since one loop is a specific amount of frames, when I slow down on the corners, I'm guessing it takes too much time and the car suddenly speed up too much to be in time to make the loop. How can I fully customize their speed without this abrupt speed issue? Thanks and fire video man

I shrink wrapped some decals on, copied to another file for assets as i thought id try to bring it in that way but decals are just pink squares. Im guessing they arent linked to the vehicle since it breaks by moving it. Im also not sure about saving as a single file, when it try to append it in it just takes me deeper into various layers. Apologies if this was covered elsewhere and i missed it.
@DerekElliott3 жыл бұрын
It sounds like you need to pack files into the one you're appending from. You shouldn't really have to do that but if the texture file moved locations then packing it should solve that by making it part of the blenderder file
@Jackripster693 жыл бұрын
@@DerekElliott Thanks Derek, fixed the problem and now have the track all finished! Please stop apologizing, its only know all youtube trolls that have a dig. Your project are fun, easy to follow along with and a great end product to be proud of. This tutorial was very helpful, a why i spend more time learning the tools than making atm. The use of pre-existing elements was fantastic. Road, guard rails, columns all happened super quick. Really pays to spend a bit of time in planning. Working smart ftw. Off to make a tank and read up on cameras to get some better action shots of my noob racers and Lets Go Brandon Flag.

@TheoPantazi4 жыл бұрын
@@DerekElliott Same :) I used to be ok with drivers, many years ago in Maya, but now I use Blender and really should explore that side more. Just like IK rigs have control sliders etc, the same would work for anything. Maybe browse some IK videos and just focus on the part about the controls, then copy n paste, tweak, and viola! :P
