You take blindness, combined with autistic monotropism (both obsession and the willingness to put in the hours of study), the echolalia, combined with musical talent and love of music, and this is what we get: So well-done, Derek. I have a 2yo who is mostly non-speaking but he sings in good detail, especially loves John Williams soundtracks, and musicals. I have hope of his being able to communicate and appreciate music, when I watch your videos.

@@derekparavicini Never mind reading my comments, I'll be hos #1 fan anyway. What I'd really like to see is Derek playing tunes outside his comfort zone of Christmas carols, ragtime and well known classics. I'd like to see him interact with middle eastern tunes with ¼ tones scales and how he transfers them to piano, I want to hear him playing Chinese scales, folk songs from around the world, Turkish and Iranian classics etc. Do you think you cam arrange that?
