Hiii! Do you still use this? And if so, do you apply your moisturiser, face primer etc before applying the dermaglage primer and product ? I have a dented burn scar the shape of Africa underneath my left eye which is extremely frustrating to deal with. Although foundation may cover the discolouration the outline of the scar almost highlights it so I really want to try this. I sweat a lot so I’m afraid it will start peeling at the corners throughout the day or that any foundation put on top will affect the product. Any help would be so SO appreciated. I’m sceptical because this product does not seem to have a lot of advertisement//marketing and it’s rather expensive .

You are a life changer! I am crying in joy! I had cystic acne before. And years later, it came back. With my lupus flare ups and the cystic acne, it was hard not to pick at my skin. My face is ugly and I have tried COUNTLESS products from primers, foundations, color-correctors, setting sprays, etc. Nothing works! I definitely have to try this now! Dermaflage should be paying you for this. In comparison to Dermaflage’s application tutorials, yours are the most detailed and easy to follow. I am wondering, is there any alternative that I can use of the texture pad? Unfortunately, its difficult to get dermaflage in our country and luckily I was able to buy a single applicator without the texture pad. I tried using it but I can’t get the best result. Sorry for the delay in replying to you! I have tried using a few other items and everything sticks and does not work like the pad. The closest thing that kind of worked was a silicone cutting mat. Like those silicone rubber cooking molds you can buy to bake cakes and cupcakes in? THAT type of material. But, it didn't work like the Dermaflage pad. Their pad is still the best. You can buy it separately on Amazon! Look it up and see if you can find it from Amazon, if it is available in your country ❤

this definitely works! i was really skeptical about this product and only decided to get it after watching this video. i have a surgical scar on my forehead which was very prominent, this filled up the depressed parts completely and is much better than just concealer over the parts where there is a little bit of raised scar tissue. i would say 95 percent of my scar is covered and only i would notice it all because i know i have product on there. it is quite expensive for me getting it shipped to my country but it definitely works!!

I tried the Dermaflage and I think it's probably good for someone who has one or two scars. But to apply it everyday, or even from time to time, for my acne scars that cover most of my cheeks I don't see how it's feasible to use this stuff with any regularity. I wish it was different, like a paste where you could smooth it on. Like on a larger surface or something. But, I do think it's a good product for certain situations.

I completely understand. I have many places I'd LIKE to put it, but only choose the worst on me, which is a few super deep pits. It's not for everyone if you have larger surfaces. Have you tried derma-rolling? I have not, but I've heard it kind of breaks up the scar tissue. And yes, if Dermaflage were like a primer, could you imagine how much easier it would be? I have cheeks and chin covered in acne scars too. I just saw where a Japanese company was supposed to come out with a spray superficial skin in 2019. I'm not sure if it's on the market, don't see it. Never rub to hard unless it's time to take the Dermaflage off, like I do in the video. It is definitely waterproof! I have washed my face with cleanser and water with my hands, forgetting to take the Dermaflage off before, and it was still on afterwards! Crazy but yes...you will be good.

You CAN, but it is much harder, IMO. They say you can wear a mineral powder over it, but not a liquid foundation. I wear liquid foundation and have found it nearly impossible for the Dermaflage to not look obvious if I apply the Dermaflage BEFORE I put my makeup on. Hope this helps ❤

I have never tried it on stretch marks. I haven't seen anyone try that yet! Good question! It is sweatproof but if you are rubbing lotion on or using suntan lotion, it won't stick properly. Now on Beauty what is the difference when it comes to the starter kit with the regular one? Also thank you for that tip! Would surely do that. And with my laser treatment i’ve undergo 2 sessions already which is 4-5 times every 1 session of it. As compared to my scars before trying laser, i can tell somehow that there is a difference but then my scars are deep enough that’s why it takes so much time and money to finally see a visible result that i want. Also, my dermatologist told me that with your first laser treatment there won’t really be a noticeable difference so you gotta keep getting the treatment until your satisfied enough with the result you wanted. I’ve also done 1 session of prp treatment which i preferred more? since they directly inject every scar in your face with the plasma that they also got from your body. And the last treatment that i had was the TCA cross with subcision but only had 1 treatment done as per covid-19. So as you can tell i’ve done multiple treatments already 😅 but my scars are still very noticeable. And because of this quarantine i got to know your channel and glad that i found this product!! never knew there is a thing for acne scars such as that dermaflage😩 if i knew it earlier then it would really be nice! but can i know since when did you start using dermaflage? and also can i sleep with that on my face? and would it last more than 24hrs or with just a maximum hour? The starter kit has the silicone pad to set the product, the mixing and application tools and one syringe of the color of your choice. It does NOT contain the Primer. That is sold separately. The Dermaflage will stay put, I think even while sleeping. It's cosmetic though. It's like something to wear for up to 24 hours with the Primer. Thanks for letting me know your treatments! Wow! I am soooo interested in all that. I would LOVE to permanently remove my scars but no plastic surgeon or dermatologist will help me! Only gave me peels and they didn't do ANYTHING. Just dispense a small amount directly from the tube onto a piece of plastic or a plate and mix it yourself. I have a small atrophic scar on the tip of my nose. I have received CO2 laser treatment with little improvement. The hole has reduced in size from the laser treatment and may need one more. But quite frankly I’m afraid of the ablative laser treatment and what if I’m not so lucky next time around? I fear I might even be left with a bigger hole I don’t know 🤷‍♂️ god help me. Hi! Wow, quite a journey for you. So the ablative laser could make it bigger? I would be scared, too! As far as your color goes, that is difficult to say. Do you live in the US? If so, you can exchange the color for free within 30 days if you pick the wrong color. Look at the undertones. Would you say you are more olive or yellow undertones? Scroll down more on the page and you will see their chart with like celebrity photos for comparison. Much easier to choose from looking at those photos.

Dermaflage works only in indented scars. So, it would work best to fill your ice pick scars one at a time. Dermaflage basically fills in the "hole" and brings it up to the level of the surrounding skin. If you try it, try picking scars that really bother you and fill them in one by one. It will be a process, for sure, but it WILL work for you. Trust me, I have way more scars than you can see in this video. You can kind of see a couple on my nose. I WISH it worked over large areas, because I'd be using it like that myself! 🤣

What I do is treat the individual scars within that area. It will take time and patience, but this product must only be placed into the "pits." Try concentrating on the problem scars only, even if it appears you have a large area to cover. ❤

Yes! Only for indented scars, in fact. I've had people ask if they can use it on regular scars (the kind that are lifted) and I always say "no." This actually fills in those pock marks from acne. ❤

No. The Dermaflage liquid primer in the little bottle in this video, is EXACTLY what keeps the Dermaflage on all day. It's made to be used with silicone. It is not a makeup primer. ❤

@@aikeemjohnson849 Oh with the Primer you can wear it for like 16-18 hours. Without, it depends on the level of natural oils your skin produces. If you have oily skin, it may not even stick at all (without the Primer). Your skin must be completely oil free on the application area, when you apply it. It's not like Dermaflage wears off. It is like a silicone "patch" over the indents. It will stay there, technically, until you take it off. But as humans, we sleep, have natural oils in our skin, we touch our face, we make facial expressions, it will start to lift off after many hours. If you put it on and don't move, produce natural oil, etc., then technically, it would last you the rest of your life! But we don't live like that. I get a good 18 hours of wear with the Primer and makeup, before I start to see lifting at the edges.

Any scars that are deep or indented, this will work, yes. Takes practice but it definitely works! I've seen people use this to close up gauge holes in their ears so, yes. Dermaflage works on scars, period! 👍

I have the primer, there are no ingredients on it. But the smell reminds me of SCHELLECK dissolved in alcohol. That's what you use for woodworking. I work a lot with shellac polish, I am almost certain that it is shellac dissolved in alcohol. I also know that shellac leaves exactly this rough surface on the skin. I have also tried it once. The effect is identical. Am I wrong here or am I possibly right?

Hi! Dermaflage, when they FIRST came out with their kits, used a smooth silicone pad. Their kits today have a silicone pad that is skin textured. I often see people who have tried Dermaflage and didn't like it because of the shine (which I agree...I HAD an old pad, too). I suspect those people are buying old stock from someone ELSE on Amazon or wherever! But Dermaflage has fixed that issue and all of their kits now have the new pad. So if you are buying from Amazon, make sure the Seller is actually "Dermaflage" and not someone else, or buy directly from the Dermaflage.com website. And you'll be good to go ❤😘

I REALLY recommend the Primer, but it isn't ABSOLUTELY necessary. It is recommended if you have oily skin or will be wearing with makeup. But I've worn it without the Primer.

Well, it depends on if you will be wearing with makeup. The product is semi-transparent so it may be fine. Dermaflage used to offer a color exchange for free one time, if you live in the US (for free). Try it. If they still offer this service, you can exchange it if it is wrong. Maybe by then they'll have the color you think you may need. You might be 100% fine with the fair, though, too!

I just bought this product! I had a mole removed recently about 3 weeks ago and it’s left an indent I was thinking about getting a dermal filler but I was gonna use this to see if it will work instead. So this stays on 24hrs ? Oh this product will work great for what you have going on. You can take it off whenever you want. But if you use their Primer liquid that I show in the video, yes...it will stay I'd say LONGER than 24 hours! I have actually washed my face makeup off and it will stay there! But like I said, you just peel it off. It's pretty incredible stuff. Just peel it off, wash your makeup off, and you are good to go. It is just silicone. If you want to wear it on no makeup days for a whole day then it will work for that, too!

@@coraurdialez9130 Yes... it makes a HUGE difference. And you can't put liquid foundation over the Dermaflage like you do over your face. I do ALL of my makeup first, then use the Primer over just the small scars, then apply the Dermaflage, THEN... just use whatever residue is left of my foundation brush (or sponge) and lightly pounce over the Dermaflage. I have a video of me applying it over my makeup, other than the 1st video I did which you have already watched ( I saw your comment on that video). Watch the "Q & A " video I did, and you will see me do it again OVER my makeup. Hope this helps ❤

SORRY I didn't reply sooner! OK... look at your silicone pad. Is it textured or completely smooth? If it is smooth, you may have received their old model silicone pad (IF you did not buy your Dermaflage directly from their website. Some random people on the internet are selling off old stock. Infuriating!) If your pad is textured, you are pressing WAY too hard when you are setting the product. You can use the tiniest bit of powder and sweep it over the area. NO! The syringe has two chambers that must be mixed together to create the silicone! The primer is a small bottle that I show in the video. The primer is a liquid product.

If you have a lot of scars, it will definitely take more time and patience to put on every day, simply because you would have to work with the Dermaflage ONLY in the scars. You don't want it to really cover your good skin.

Hi! It can be because it moves and stretches with your facial expressions. HOWEVER, I have never tested it on an area of the face that moves as much as the mouth does. I've seen people fill a piercing hole NEAR their lip with it and it works! You would DEFINITELY need to get their Primer if you are going to be using it near the lip area for the best adhesion.
