Derpycon is the old fashion small con we used to go to before it went main stream. IT's not big and flashy but it's fun enough. Animenyc however sold out to the army, and doubled their prices. Never again.

How was artist alley? Did they have a decent about of booths and merchindise?

The organizers did a pretty good job of getting a wide variety of artists and vendors. Overall I'd say the size was decent!

this was my best friends first con, we went together and we both had a lot of fun ^__^ much better than my first con for sure haha mine was tiny me and him went friday and saturday, my other friend went sunday but they said it was really bad that day we actually got there p early the first day, we go to the same school and it happened to be a half day that day, so my mom took us right to the con once school ended, we had like an hour before everything opened up. it was much calmer that day so we mainly just played games n shopped (and took a ton of candy from that candy bowl in the front, if you went to get candy on day one and it was all just twizzlers and other gross ones... yeah that was our fault lol)
