IMO I don't think Westbrook will ever make/win a championship considering he's gonna be 29 next season and the fact that the warriors main core will probably stick together during Russell's prime

Derick’s speed in transition is second to none. You can see that inner city high school basketball type of intensity in how he plays. In the half court, Derick was able to go 0-60 very quickly and he was able to split gaps. Thirdly, his strength , he looked almost too explosive for his size. That’s probably what contributed to the injury. Finally, his flare.. one of the things I liked about his dunks is actually how he comes off the rim “after the dunk” there’s a certain flash that’s comparable to the bat flip in baseball

Russell Westbrook's longetivity is so underrated, yes his 3pt shooting and mid-range shot wasn't that good. But okc westbrook was built different, 2 consecutive seasons averaging triple double, and a seaon with the wizards where he average another tripple double. I'm a fan of both. But I'd have to go with westbrook on how he took care of his body despite being so explosive in his early years.

Obviously D Rose was insane in his prime and he’s arguably the greatest what if, but Russ has had his own mvp season, a season averaging 31/10/10, even 31/10/5 or 31/5/10 is considered mvp level. He’s a perennial all star, a high volume playmaker even if he turns it over a bit too much, and he’s by far one of the best rebounding pgs ever, even if there was some statpadding involved. Not hating on D Rose but y’all are downplaying Westbrook. Westbrooks overall accomplishments make him a first ballot hof as well. 4 seasons averaging a triple double, and even before that, he would have seasons doing things like 23/7/10. Russ may be held back by slapdash decision making but he could do just about everything
