A judge studies for 4 years to get a bachelors degree. Then studies to take the LSAT, likely more than once. Then they go to law school for another 4 years. Then to become a lawyer they have to pass the BAR. Then they practice as a lawyer for decades, finally they are appointed to be a judge. What makes you think you know more than him about sentencing? The way you type id be surprised if you even had a college degree.
