My favourite type of weather, because the heavy snowfall reflects so much light that it's not dark at all outside, even if you're in a less lit area. It's wonderful. Barely any shadows, barely any contrast, just soft light being reflected everywhere.

In Tokyo it was also snowing, after 4 years that I have not snowed, it feels so magical. He made me remember Helsinki ,,, I miss being there, treading the snow, seeing the snow fall and seeing the shape of the snow is Magic.

Although it looks pretty, I find it funny that people are commenting it looks cold. The snow looks and sounds really wet, so I'm guessing the temperature was - 1°C. That's warm winter weather in Finland 😄

People that have never experienced snow ❄️ can assume that when it's snowing, that it's very cold. People that have witnessed snow are more aware that the really cold temperatures arrive after the snowstorm

I was an au pair in Helsinki 10 years ago, and watching these videos while I ride my stationary bike brings me such feelings of nostalgia and happiness - but also longing for the wonderful place that made such an impact on my life. These Kallio videos are especially touching, as I spent many, many nights having a delicious lonkero in one of the nearby pubs.
