I still can't believe how good these recordings are from 1977. Derringer way ahead of his time. I was probably at this concert seen him more times than I can count. He always gave you a great show.

Hey you sad Saks. This stuff rocks beyond measure. Derringer a live wire ready to make a statement love his song endings explosive.

Totally onboard with your comment, but there were plenty of effects used elsewhere during those shows. Also, this recording sounds dry (and somewhat unbalanced), like it was recorded from the stage monitor mixing console. The audience was probably hearing a slightly "wetter" sound mix than what we hear, here.

The great and unheralded Myron Grombacher on drums.😊

I never liked his cluttered stick clacking style. I thought Vinny A. made the band so much better. Grombacher was better suited for P Benetar than Derringer.

The original lineup was Rick, Dan, Kenny and Myself (until I needed foot surgery). Myron took the sticks and ran with it till he went off with Neil & Pat!
