DERRY THROUGH TO FAI CUP SEMI FINAL | BEST VLOG EVER?

Derry city met Shamrock Rovers in the 1/4 final of the FAI cup at the Ryan McBride Brandywell.
Superb match where 10 man Rovers took Derry to extra time before ultimately coming up short.
My favourite vlog to date.
*there were a couple of chants that could be offensive to some that I didn’t record.

Watched it on tv ( some of the RTE commentators can't hide their Dublin bias ) and agree that Europe took a lot out of Rovers. Hadn't realised it was so long since Derry won anything major but they'll rarely have a better chance than this year..

Great performance from Derry!! Looks like you had a great time Niall 🤩 A very good draw for Derry in the semi final. Waterford V Shelbourne (who won the old IFA cup) will have a tough game away at the RSC. I think it will be very hard to beat 39,000 people for the final this year with the teams that are left. I’m sure Derry would bring around 15,000 for sure but I can’t imagine the others bringing more than that. Of course the Candystripes have to see off Treaty united first but that is very likely to be an easy game if they play correctly.

They took advantage of Rovers coming off the back of the European game. Rovers can concentrate on league now.

Yes. As a Rovers fans agree yous deserved the win . Like I said the red card was a factor. But Derry looked the more intent of the two sides Derry v Shels final would be a big crowd. I couldnt make Derry after the midweek trip to Belguim but got a ticket for Shels v Bohs. Great crowd and atmosphere at Tolka Park too.

Come up the night before, Derry is a great city to enjoy the night life, the restaurants are top notch at very reasonable prices and there about 30 pubs within a few hundred yards of the city centre and we welcome everyone 👍
