I think they got lumped in with the pop punk fad of the early 2000s and they are considered to be somewhat of a band of mall kids of that era, which is sad. They have total bona fides in the punk and metal genres. But that's not really worth much these days. The world has passed us all by.

Infected and Chuck were the bee's nuts. Seriously great music that doesn't wear out with time. I've always loved Blink-182 despite my advancing years, but you can only pull off so many songs about chasing girls in high school when you get to be in your 40s :)

He looks like he did 15 years ago haha. I love them so much. Probably the only punk rock band which still just as great as they were. Every Sum 41 album is so good in my opinion. I can't wait to see them live June at the first time and so excited for the new album!

If you haven't gotten into Chuck, do so now. It's a real eye-opener, a seriously A+ effort after years and years of rather catchy but admittedly generic pop-punk from about 4 million other bands. Well-written, lots of metal influence, and well-produced, great sounding album.

i think if a 15 year anniversary tour happens for Chuck (and i hope it does since Chuck is one of my favorite Sum 41 albums) then it will probably happen in 2020 since theyre supposed to be going on tour for their new album next year

@@greendayfangirl1000 I hadn't even thought of that. It's interesting because the DTLI tour was only a couple months, and their new album isn't set for release until mid-to-late summer. So they may be able to do it, but I don't know if they like to tour while writing new stuff.
