Hmm . . . the video shows this as an obvious DOGSO-RED outside of the penalty area. The other defender is too far away on the other side of the field to be a factor, direction of play is right at the goal, distance is obvious, the attacker has a high likelihood of controlling that ball , and the foul occurs in between both the CR&AR (two sets of eyeballs). With so much time for the CR & AR to discuss the foul during the injury, I'm curious to know their thought process. Did they think the fouled attacker passed the ball to his offside teammate? I don't see a pass, I just see the ball roll away after the foul.
