It's not so much language barriers as it is cultural barriers in comedy. My English-speaking German friend insisted he had a sense of humor, but sometimes I didn't recognize it, and vice versa due to our cultural differences. I thoroughly enjoyed this series and learned more about Chinese culture from a unique perspective - 1st hand experience.

Dude! How do you only have 22k youtube subs?!? I was thinking it’d be millions and think it could/should be! You should do a “collab” with xiaomanyc… dude has 6M+ youtube subs and many speak Mandarin too! Everything of yours I’ve seen to date I’ve thoroughly enjoyed! I’m looking forward to ep 6 - and really think you should revisit this idea!
