At 1st I was disappointed with the lack of bikes, but the board gameplay looks pretty good. Just needs some more polish and I'm sure I'll have a blast with this one as well.

I dont understand some of these comments but this game looks sick. Yes Descenders 1 was about MTB and it will probably returns but cmon these developers know what they are doing and also I totally understand them because doing one thing for over and over is very exhausting. They needed something new and Im totally into this.

Logged over 400 hours in Descenders 1 over the past few years, because the mechanics made it a legit mtb game. Super disappointed to see that bikes will not be returning. Adding snowboarding and mountain boarding would have been sick, but exclusively boards takes the best element of the game out and what made it so unique. Especially since there have only been a couple of MTB games. Idk. I hope bikes are added, otherwise ill stick to descenders 1.

I hope to see bicycle too because it's the DNA of Descenders but to do some snowboarding looks cool! Soundtrack is perfect like in the actual game. Is this coming to Xbox Series ? Also I hope lots of customisation unlock by play.

I feel like there's too much on the screen- it looks like something that you'll get used yo ehile playing I would love the simplicity if descenders OG. Maybe in the options menus. Games looks super fun though! Can't wait to see the finished product

Im not sure if im willing to invest the same time than i still put into Dscender 1 because it took me years to master pump and countrpump that way that im able to do the sickest transfers and lines. This will a different game with different gameplay so yeah... looks great and im sure that there will be the same outstanding level for the OST too.... but im confused how to treat the sequell.....

Looks great!! excited for this game as well. looks like it will have good re playability. As long as they add good rewards and missions like descenders and fix leaderboard issues it’s a definite buy for me.

Glad to see the terrain look a little more complex later on in the video! Gotta admit that when I saw the first gameplay, I was a little disappointed by how simple it looked, but I also had to remind myself that starting in the Plains biome of Descenders is also pretty boring. Hoping to see some gnarly levels to tackle!

When are we getting Hypnospace Outlaw 2? Also, it occurs to me how very far gaming has come in my lifetime. Anybody else remember Ski Free? It seemed almost impossible to get past that damn snow man. But now we have games like this.

TBH I love Descenders and I'm worried about Descenders Next. There's a nice balance in Descenders where the subtle nuances make the game fun for a long time but it's simple enough for anyone to jump on an enjoy without knowing advanced techniques. I'm worried that Descenders Next will be too easy and arcade like. For example a Tony Hawks game (Mad respect for this game paving the way here) or Riders Republic, great games but they don't have the same depth and longevity for me and my friends, as something like Skate. or Shredders. If this is just another way too easy, unrealistic game, I don't think it's going to carve it's own spot into the gaming world like Descenders did, we needed a game like Descenders for people who love MTB, we already had MTB games but they weren't realistic enough. Games that don't have enough depth or technicality get played a few times and dropped. Games like Descenders, Skate and Shredders can be played over and over, especially if new maps keep coming in the updates. What's really got me worried is there's a clip in the 'Tricks and DesCents' video at about 2.34, there is no way you should be able to ride away from jumping too late and smashing your hips into a wooden feature. The board went through the wooden feature and then he some how flicks a late backflip nose grab, instead of the game making him bail out and this is the stuff that in my opinion that could make it too easy and unrealistic. We already have Riders Republic, we don't need another one! Maybe I'm judging this game too early, I'm sure the developers know all of this but I hope this helps and I truly believe this could be a great game, not just a good game!

Because they already have a bike game with a lot of content (the original Descenders). They are also still going to be updating the first game. I think they are going more for the downhill aspect and physics of Descenders and applying those to other sports they find interesting to explore.

This honestly looks great but come on guys this isn't what anyone wanted. I absolutely love the mechanics of the original and I'm gutted that this isn't just an improvement on that with new graphics and environments. If you wanted to add snowboarding etc on top of that then even better but to completely move away from the main reason we all loved the original is such a bad decision IMO. I look forward to you guys making the actual sequel to Descenders.

Not gonna lie, the dirt skateboard thing looks awkward. Bikes are what made Descenders great. The logical progression would have been motocross. Just imagine Descenders BMX and Motocross. What a missed opportunity. Overall this looks meh. 😐

I like snowboarding. I've always wanted more snowboarding games. (I wasn't expecting to see mountainboards though) Looking at the animations, and presumably the health system.... I hope this game is actually good. I don't really have high expectations anymore, but I hope the game is good. This ain't the finished product anyways, and if the original team is still in the works, this has potential.

this just isnt it... I loved descenders 1 tho. Snowboarding looks cool, but we alr have so many games that do it better atp. And whatever the other thing is... No one wants that. The entire appeal of the series was bikes...

At this point, this game is gonna fail. The descenders physics style is completely gone in this one, making it feel like a knock off Riders Republic, which is what we all hoped this wouldn't be. Animations look janky, too arcade, almost like a mobile game. Not saying you should add bikes to this game as well but at least make it FEEL like the game we love already.
