Descent into Escapism, The Artist Vaydra Wright

The Artist, Vaydra Wright would like to share her personal experience of mental distress to raise awareness and to reduce stigma.
Vaydra Wright was born into Domestic Violence, the trauma of witnessing & overhearing domestic violence on a regular basis, Vaydra Wright developed dissociation / depersonalized periods from an infant. Unbeknown to her, Dissociative Identity Disorders played a major role in my development & physical well being throughout her life. Undetected, unfortunately, inadequately diagnosed and treated as migraines until Vaydra sat in a few sessions with a domestic violence therapist in 2016. Now, Vaydra manages her own dissociation periods.
