As a user and Creator who publishes to LinkedIn regularly I use and would recommend the square or 9:16. I've found both work well. The standard rectangular layout works but the other two are better suited to social IMHO. Hope that helps.

Okay so this is driving me crazy! I already have 9 x 16 clips that I use to promote my podcast. I am narrating so I am on screen but when I import the video into Descript it distorts the aspect ratio. There has got to be an easy way to do this since the video is already the aspect ratio I want it to be, help!!

Just to be clear this feature DOES NOT WORK. As soon as you paste it randomly cuts out parts of words. Descript's customer support will tell you the solution is to turn off primary features that make the app otherwise useless.
