In SW Utah desert you are either a butte or a mesa. You could also create free standing hoodoos for your desertscape. Great painting and I can't wait to give it a try! Thank you for taking the time to teach us.

excactly buttes or mesas. you need to come to Nevada best buttes ever. Used in lots of movies. Lake Mead and Lake Powell. from another world. try to get a trip there. stay on a houseboat on the lake

I love the box of q tips in the background. my cat found my qtips the other day and spent hours working on them. she's about 18 and super chonky so this was something amazing. bwa hahaha

Loved it, Clive! The round cactus is a barrel cactus. Those are ones you can get moisture from. These are called mountains. In Bryce, there are formations called hoo-doos, they are very strange, like alien creatures. Have a great week, Clive!
