I was a DJ and the assistant manager at a skating rink when this came out. I played some “couple skates” with this one. I married the girl I use to skate with. I doubt I owe it to Dennis, but maybe this song of his set the mood right at times.

I'm so blessed to have seen his concert in St.Charles, Mo a few years back at the "Family arena". I'm 46 yrs. Old and have seen quite a few concerts raging from rock, pop, heavy metal, country, opra, !, etc. And his concert i have to say was the best out of alk my live venues. Everything was perfect.

I remeber this song in 1980 I believe, it was on the jukebox, back when they had them in every bar. I believe he rereleased in a solo album in 1984. Styxx is one my favorite groups and Dennis has a very distinct voice that's one of kind.

Dennis is second only to Freddie Mercury as the front man that played to his audience. He would change the set list based on the audience response. This legend I saw live 6 times with Styx, and once as a solo artist. Long live DDY! By the way Desert Moon was released in 84 :D

This song came out in 1984 not 1980. It's not a Styx song , Desert Moon also was Deyoungs first solo tune after they ceased as Styx evidenced by the catastrophic "KILROY WAS HERE " tour and yep Tommy shaw quit the band in 1983 unreported by the media due to his dissatisfaction of that tour.

I loved this song as a kid in middle school. At the time I didn't realize it was from the singer of Styx, a band I really liked. There was no internet back then. We did have MTV videos, but I guess I didn't make the connection of what he looked like in the video versus the album covers from like Grand Illusion. Amazing voice.

Most amazing concert ive seen & ive seen a few at 46 yrs. Old. Friend had tickets and i almost didn't go. Glad i went the concert was the best. He hit the notes, perfectly , band was in tune , no hick-ups in the concert. The whole. Concert was sir-real. I've been tonopras , rock, heavy metal, country, etc. Thiscwas the best i have to say.

I was at the 2017 dearborn homecoming and seen Styx and remember this song a great show they put on one of there best homecoming for dearborn that and Australian bee gees band in 2018, and starship in 2019 looks like there won't be a 2020 homecoming because of the corona virus what a shame to me the biggest event in the area in dearborn it was suppose to be aug 7,8,9 2020 but it all depends if they lift this lockdown not looking to promising
