You guys had a blast! On top of that, winners!! Congrats to both! 👏🏻 The one thing I loath about changing tires on anything German (Rolls being BMW) is the fact they don’t have wheel studs. Lining up the holes on a driveway in sunny conditions is still tough. Doing it on sand with less than ideal lighting?! Respect!! 👍🏻👏🏻

I'd rather take the easy route and use a suitable vehicle like Rav4 Hybrid. One of the bigger CUVs with Hybrid Electric Torque at low speed.

Just curious, why did you not bring off road tires to an off road rally? Kind of like bringing a knife to a gun fight, what would you expect to happen? Snow tires vs Desert. Desert wins. ;-)

HDnatureTV: Relaxing Music & Nature Sounds Videos Totally! But the brakes are really big so you need the big wheels. And thanks to packaging the biggest wheel/tire combination is 31.5-inches. There wasn’t anything that would fit so we had to go stock. Trust me, that thing would have been unstoppable with some KO2s or similar.

I'm impressed. For something 99% of the cars built will never be asked to do, it did a good job! I agree a tire change would be the first thing I'd do, was there something in the rules about only using tires that are available from factory? Would love to see Rolls do an off-road variant with slightly larger wheel openings and bigger tires. I think it would actually look better too.

Laurie B Yeah it was a packaging issue. Big brakes mean big wheels. And you can only fit a 31.5-inch tire under there and there isn’t anything off road that works.

LOL Wrong, most of the cars are provided by OEM and are basically sacrificial. Not like the competitor buy expensive vehicles and take it on this rally. Though there are some more budget conscious vehicles on the rally which the competitors own. But have the advantage of being built up for a long time.

Two options: - Cullinan from Vladivostok, RU to Casablanca, Morocco -- Apple Maps says it's 8,929 miles - Cullinan from Prudhoe Bay, AK to Key West, FL -- 5,500 miles It may be necessary to bring with a security/support team in two trailing Merc G550s for the RU and Morocco segments, I've no idea what the security situation is there.

You forgot about any Land Rover or Range Rover or even a Land Cruiser or LX 570. Even the Armada & QX80 are also built for this kind of challenging course

I don't think I have felt so bad for a vehicle in a long time...it's actually painful to watch...LOL What happened to the aftermarket light bar that was mounted on the front bumper? So there is no rear door/ hatch ajar indication on the display...that is strange? Previous year champs, too late for a checkpoint...OMG that sucks big time!
