Desert Safari in Khuri : Part 1- Road Trip to Rajasthan

As a customary year-end celebration, we decided to end 2020 with a Road Trip. This time we planned those parts of Rajasthan, which we did not visit last year. 4 years earlier, we made a road trip to Rajasthan and visited Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer (Sam). So this time, we have Bikaner, Jaisalmer (Khuri), Udaypur & Ranthambore on our map. Bikaner & Khuri is covered in Part -1 of this Vlog, while the remaining will be covered in Part -2.
During our earlier road trip, we stayed in the Tent resorts of Sam. At that time, we found Sam to be quite a commercialized tourist spot. This time we wanted the raw desert experience. After a good search on the internet, we finalized Badal Singh ji in Khuri Village. The 2 days we stayed with him in the desert is the experience of a lifetime.
I will highly recommend him if someone wants an authentic village & desert safari experience.

We visited a day before the full moon night. So missed all the stars at night. But shooting stars were visible before dawn when the full moon had set. Since I have been to both the villages, I can say that if you like non-touristy places with some authentic experience, then Khuri is the place to visit.

Once in the sand dunes there is no network. And you will not repent to visit Khuri.
