Hey there, Phanessa. I love your tutorial. I’ve been planning on making a granny square jacket or cardigan so I’ll be back to follow your instructions in the near future. You explain things very clearly. I really appreciate that. Thank you .😊😊

Thank you for the kind words! I’m glad that you enjoy my videos. I have had feedback about the underarm sleeve portion being too confusing if that’s the case for you just use an even number of squares for the sleeves instead of three if that makes sense.

I loves the way that you have crocheted your Cardigan and I have been crocheting sunflower granny squares using a H8 5mm crocheting hook only thing is it is taking me so long to get the Cardigan put together so I am going to try and crochet what you have crocheted the granny squares Cardigan it is looking very lovely 😍 👌
@DesignsbyPhanessa2 ай бұрын
You can always sew it using a needle. And omit the underarm section
@ShdonnaBolden2 ай бұрын
@@DesignsbyPhanessa That is very true and if I could show you one picture of my crocheted granny squares Cardigan you would know what I am talking about the reason why I have said I am going to use a 5.5mm and crochet another Cardigan

This was a great tutorial and I'm excited to give it a try! How many skeins of yarn did you go through? I'm a knitter and have problems accurately estimating how much yarn for crochet!
@DesignsbyPhanessa9 ай бұрын
Would you believe I still hate estimating yardage haha. I believe I had it in the chart in the blog but it’s still all an estimate based on the weight of the finished product.

I'm 5 feet tall, I don't understand how many squares I need⁉️⁉️⁉️ I think it's a total of 37 for the cardigan + 2 additional squares for the pockets? = For a total of 39 squares⁉️⁉️⁉️ I'm making the SMALL cardigan that has 3 rows of squares in the back. The chart is confusing to me...HELP PLEASE‼️‼️‼️

The written pattern in the blog post has a lot more detail. The link is in the description box. Check it out, it may answer your questions. 😁

@@DesignsbyPhanessa That's the chart I'm talking about, it's confusing. The picture diagram has 37 granny squares, but the written chart highlighted in blue has a count of 50 granny square needed for the size SM cardigan....🤷🏼♀️

Hi! About to start this pattern and ordered the exact yarn you used listed in the pattern- but the “pumpkin pie” color looks nothing like the yellow that you are using. Are you sure that is the color used? Thanks!!
@DesignsbyPhanessa Жыл бұрын
That’s so weird! I just double checked my order history and yes it’s pumpkin pie.

Awe. I thought about it but I was already in too deep!

I love the whole pattern. But the sleeves are very confusing. There has to be an easier way. Everything was all bunched up and you couldn't really see what was going on.
@DesignsbyPhanessa Жыл бұрын
You can make it even and not worry about the underarm sleeve part.
@sherrylynn7582 Жыл бұрын
Also on the written pattern, for the larger sizes, it says to do less rounds. Wouldn't that make it smaller not bigger. I'm just so confused

Am I the only one having THE hardest time with the armpit area? I can't tell what side she's on when she's doing it and how she rotates it. I've been stuck on this for 30 min
@DesignsbyPhanessa9 ай бұрын
Ohhhh no! I’m so sorry you’re having a hard time. It’s basically a piece that you’re attaching to 4 different sides of the underarm piece. You can send me an email and we’ll work through it. :) patterns@designsbyphanessa.com
