I'm really happy how it turned out as well. I think I will make mine longer in the bodice, definitely change out the white, and maybe do some ties for the front.

How mush yarn did you use for the cardigan
@makeit.withmegan19 күн бұрын
I used 2 skeins of each color except for white, I used 3. However, I did have some yarn left over of each.

I love your tutorial of how you made your granny square cardigan jacket. I'm in the process of making my first jacket and with your helpful tips and video gives me a better confidence boost in the general direction to make mine. Thank you for this video. I also have subscribed to your channel. Ever thought about adding pockets or a hoodie?.. SMILES.. GOD BLESS --Sandra N. from Michigan.

would this fit for size large ? and how much yarn did you use ?
@makeit.withmegan22 күн бұрын
I’m not sure because a size large isn’t standardized from brand to brand. I am about 5’3” and have a bust measurement of 36”.
How tall would you be, as want to make this jacket for my grand daughter who is around 5'4" but think it might be too long for her...thanks It is a beautiful jacket you made here
@makeit.withmegan3 ай бұрын
Thank you. I am 5’3”.

I appreciate the math content! Math can be hard sometimes but, as you showed, persistence is key! Question: How would you wash something like this? Cool stuff!!!!!!
@makeit.withmegan10 ай бұрын
Good question! Hand wash only, lay flat to dry. Glad you enjoyed the math content lol.

I made that same mistake. My first crochet project was a queen size afghan. You know because why walk when you can run. I crocheted I ..lets just say I put togethr my queen afghan that is more like a king size and still have enough squares left over for a twin size afghan. I overestimated and did not factor in the borders. Yuup.
@makeit.withmegan3 ай бұрын
Holy smokes that’s a lot of extra squares!! But better too many than too few.
