The yellow plants have the vulgar name of brittle Bush. The real name is encellia feranosa, it's in the sunflower family and the flowers are made up of dozens of tiny flowers. If you reach Into the plant and seperate the branches you may find some resin deposits on the stems that have a wonderful smell.

Man!!!! If KZbin would allow me to give five thumbs up, I would do it! Fantastic Russ! I believe I could live in that kind of social distancing for a very long time. Can't say THANKS enough for these kind of breaks in this boring situation and time. Thanks so much for the effort. I've got to visit that area at some point before I depart this place! Thanks again, stay safe.

Places like this I will probably never get to see on my own. So for that I am grateful that you took me along. For that thanks a million. What an incredible place on planet earth. The tall cactus have buds on them so in a few days they will be blooming. So you may have to do this trip again just to see a new bloom. Thanks again for the ride. Stay safe and healthy and happy trails to you.

Great ride, Russ, this kind of exploration I could do all day long. Those black rocks remind me of that old sci-fi movie, "The Monolith Monsters". Like the way you felt it necessary to pull off the goat path when flying the drone the first time--just in case a goat came along and needed to get past.

🙋♀️ Good morning Russ! This was another beautiful day to enjoy the super bloom. I loved the rear view mirror scene where you were looking back to see if we were watching you. (lol) Thank you Russ! 👍 The colors of the dessert are as interesting as the sunsets. Those rocks, two toned were neat & the way those washes are, you would be in trouble for sure if one of those points pierced your tire. I hope you got to enjoy your lunch somewhere as beautiful as where you took us. Enjoy the rest of your day Russ!
